Prolouge

"This place is sick...and not in a good way."

"Set a good example for your younger brother."

"But MOOOOM!!! Silver is like,one!"

"Sonic,I do not like your attitude."

"I don't behave well on an empty stomach,you know that. Ooh,are those chillidogs?!"

Mrs.Emerald,the mother of both Sonic and Silver was tired. Sonic had won a running contest therefore making him able to go on a tour of the Robotnick Empire. Mrs.Emerald just had a divorce with her husband,so she couldn't leave Silver at the house. Sonic scuffed his shoes.

'This is so boring,' He thought. 'Why can't something exciting happen in my life?'

Just then,a tall girl in a white dress and red hair walked in. She arranged the feathers in her hair the smiled at the family.

"Aw,you must be Sonic Emerald. The race winner?"

Sonic smirked.

"Duh," He answered. "And you are?"

"My name is Elise. I will be your assistant during the tour of the Robotnick Empire. Please follow me."

Sonic only walked a few inches until Elise spoke up again.

"So..Sonic. How old are you?"

"The age of any other average teenage boy. 14."

"And you are a mighty fine looking human,aren't you?"

"Uh,yeah....I guess...."

The family passed through many rooms all full with mechs and trinkets. Elise came to a sudden halt in front of a red curtain. She turned around and put a fake frown face.

"Oh,I forgot. This room is off limits. But since I'm super nice,I'll let one of you three in. How about you,Sonic? After all,you were the one who won the race."

"Sure,I'll come."

Sonic followed Elise through the curtain. On the other side,there was a tall pillar with a knob on it. Elise opened the door to the pillar. She motioned to it.

"Come on,Sonic. It's not that bad. Just enter the pillar."

Without really knowing what he was doing,Sonic walked into the pillar. Elise slammed the door and locked it. She wiped her hands against her dress.

"Elise...why?"

"Family."

Just then,a round figure came from the shadows. He had a very long mustache and little googles. He wore a red coat.

"Aw...Sonic...," the man said. "He will make a perfect testing subject."

Elise nodded. "Agreed."

Sonic pounded his fists against the glass of the pillar.

"You better get me outta here,you big Eggman!"

The man turned around with a jerk.

"I am...for your information...Dr.Robotnick."

"Well,you are one jerk of a docter,Eggface!"

"Say that one more time,you pesk,and I will make your brother and family punish before your very eyes!"

Sonic pounded his fists against the door of the pillar again. Elise pulled a lever,and all of the sudden,Sonic felt different. He no longer just felt trapped,but like he was being poisoned.

"No! My brother! My friends! I will NEVER let you take them from me! NEVER!!!"

"Hush...if you squirm,it will just make things worse."

"I won't let you get away with this!"

"I already have."

Just then,a little boy came into the room. Sonic glanced over.

"Silver? Go with mommy! Go!"

But Silver stayed in place. Elise dialed the power up and Sonic saw black. And a lot of it.

"No! Sonic! Big brotha!"

Then Sonic couldn't even hear his own thoughts.
