Dramione - there's a thin line between love and hate

Catching up

Well it's chapter 4 now...I have soo many ideas for this book but it's for like later on so I'm making a lot of it up . Not quite sure where this book is going its kind of a spur of the moment thing, but I do know certain events will happen. This is a dramione book but I can't have draco come in yet coz all the things that happen before they get to school have to happen. Enjoy tho xxx

Hermione's pov-

"Glad to be back Harry" after giving Harry a massive hug I asked "where is everyone?"
Harry replied "Oh they are all sat down eating." The two of us then made out way into the kitchen.
"Hey guys look who finally turned up" Harry said making everyone turn their heads towards us. I smiled at this and waved at everyone.
"Finally" Ron and Ginny shouted together, making the pair look at each other and playfully glare, while the rest of us laughed.
I looked at everyone and could see that the after effects were still taking a toll on everyone. They all seemed to have heavy eye-bags and weren't laughing as freely as before. Looking over at George I could see he definitely was still grieving. After all why wouldn't he his twin brother, his other half, was no more. His eye bags were the worst out of everyone's, his skin was looking much drier and sullen and his laugh didn't sound as care-free as it once had. He was making an effort though, that's what counted, right?

"Hermione, why don't u take your things up to your room and get settled. If you want anything to eat don't be shy though" hearing Mrs Weasley say this made me smile once more. I was glad she was still somewhat the same as before. She was like a mother figure to me.
I smiled and nodded at her before saying "thank you Mrs Weasley but I've already ate, so I'll just put my stuff upstairs and catch up with Ginny."
I said Ginny and not Ron because I could see how much she wanted to tell me about what happened with Harry , plus Ron was stuffing his face as usual.
"Okay dear"
I turned around got my things and started walking up stairs with Ginny in tow, as she had finished eating and looked really excited.

We reached her bedroom and we set my things out before settling down on her bed and started talking about everything and anything.
I looked at Ginny and said "go on I know you want to tell me all about you and Harry so go ahead."
With that Ginny gave an excited squeal and started telling me all about Harry and her and what I'd missed. I smiled and thought "I definitely missed this"
"Well it was about 2 weeks ago when I'd given all hope about Harry asking me out. I thought I that maybe he'd gotten over me ..."
Interrupting her I told her "Don't be silly Gin, we all know how you and him are perfect for each other"
"Aww thank you Mione I'm glad you think so. Anyway so like I was saying i'd given up all hope about him asking when that night I was lying in my room feeling a bit down because I still miss Fred, you know....."a sad smile came in both of our faces when we mentioned Fred.
"I miss him too you know. Him and George always made me laugh. Speaking of George how is he? He looked okay downstairs but even I could see he still is finding it hard to deal with Fred's death." when I said this Ginny looked up and I could see the sad expression in her face.
"Well he's coping as much as anyone could when their twin died."
"That's true Gin. I can't imagine how hard it is for him considering how close they were. But let's not dwell on that for the moment, let's talk about you and Harry and then we can talk about what to do about George and if we can help him. What do you think?"

"That's probably the best thing to do Mione. Where was I again?"

"Lying in your bed..." I prompted Ginny.
"Ah yes! Well anyway so I was lying in my bed when there was a knock on the door, not thinking much of it I just shouted 'come in'. So Harry came in looking all nervous and says 'Can I talk to you?"
So I nodded and he walked in and sat on the bed. Honestly Mione I was so nervous I didn't have a clue about what he was going to say. He then just said really fast and kinda like mumbled over his words 'will ubemygirlfriend?' And 'cause I didn't understand what he'd said I told him to speak a bit clearer and slower...so then he repeated himself and when i'd got over the shock I practically screamed and flung my self at him shouting "finally and yes I will."
Ginny's smile just got bigger and bigger whilst she told me what happened, she obviously was really happy so I was even happier for her. Her cheeks also seemed to have turned red.
"Aww Ginny that's so cute and look ur cheeks are turning red just thinking of him. You're so cute! " I teased her.
Ginny just blushed even harder.
"You're really lucky though Gin because you can tell you really love him"
"Aww thank you Mione so what about you and Ron?" Ginny asked me.
"Erm we're okay I guess"
"You guess? Mione, are you serious? I thought you really liked him"
"I do, well I'm pretty sure I do, but we haven't seen each other since the war finished because I went to find parents"
"Find parents? Don't u mean find YOUR parents?" Ginny asked with a puzzled look.
"Oh yeah, I meant my parents, silly me" I replied with a nervous laugh. Ginny just laughed at me, "obviously you must tired"
"Yeah that's it, I'm tired. Shall we sleep and we can talk more tomorrow?
"Okay, you start getting ready for bed, I'm just gona go say g'night to Harry"
And with that said Ginny left the room.

I knew Ginny was going to be a while so when I was ready for bed I didn't wait for her. My last thought before I fell asleep was 'I can't believe I almost let it slip'.
