New chapter wahoo! :D..yes I know I'm an awful person for not updating for more than a year🙈

I looked over at Ginny who had a really confused look on her face, while looking in the direction Malfoy had disappeared into.

"Woah, Gin was I just imagining things or did Malfoy NOT insult us?" I questioned, still kind of shocked.

"Your right he didn't! But that DOES NOT mean he is to be trusted, he's just as bad as the rest of them if not worse" Ginny ranted, obviously still upset at my reaction to Pansy.

"Don't worry Gin, I'm not an idiot. Malfoys can never be trusted especially Draco Malfoy." I said to Ginny, while unconsciously looking for the blonde headed boy, whose eyes no longer looked at me with hate as they once had done. If only I knew how much things had changed!

"I wonder if the boys are already here?" I asked Ginny while walking into the ice cream shop, causing the chimes above the door to chime.

" I doub- oh look they're actually here"

Wow, now that's shocking.

"Ooh look at you two early for once, wonder if you will do the same in school?" Ginny teased. I giggled and took my set next to Ron, who seemed a bit distracted.

"Very funny love, did you and Hermione have fun then?" Harry asked Ginny.

Ginny simply replied 'yes' before attaching her lips to Harry.

As usual there was a groan of disgust and as usual I turned to tell Ron to leave them alone when I realised it wasn't Ron. Instead it has come from the right of me.

"Get a room you two" Malfoy complained. What, what? Malfoy?

"What do you want Malfoy?" Harry and Ginny immediately asked, surprisingly Ron just sat there staring at his food.

"Malfoy just rolled his eyes at the couple and scoffed "I'm not here for you, I'm here for Granger"

"Me?" My eyes widened slightly in surprise.

"Yes you, unless there suddenly another Granger. Anyway here's your book, it must have got mixed up from before" and with that said he turned around and walked away. However his usual arrogance was missing when he walked.

"Before?"Harry echoed.

"Erm... yeah... before" I said barely paying attention. Why was Malfoy willingly returning my book? You would think he'd throw it away. It just doesn't add up. In the background I could hear Ginny telling Harry about seeing Malfoy before. Weirdly, Ron was just sat there, Actually it wasn't that weird because lately all he does is seem to be in his own world. Another mystery.

Abruptly Ron just stood up and practically ran out after quickly saying "Sorry guys got to go" What even?

I just looked at Harry inquisitively with an eyebrow slightly raised "You wouldn't happen to know anything about that mm?"

Harry squirmed in his seat uncomfortably.

"Me? ha-ha why would you think I know anything. I don't know anything. Stop questioning me!"

"Honestly babe, you really don't do well under pressure" Ginny laughed at him.

"Don't worry Harry I won't make you tell, I'll just ask Ron myself"

Harry looked relieved. "How about we just go home? I think today has been weird enough as it is. We're going to need some rest before we go back tomorrow. "

I definitely couldn't disagree with that!

Lying in bed I didn't know if I was more excited to go back or sad. I rolled over and whispered, "Ginny are you ready to go back?"

"I really don't know. I mean, am I ready to go back to the place where Fred died, heck I don't know if I'm even ready for a normal year for once?" she whispered back.

"Oh Ginny, don't worry! anytime you feel you need someone to just cry with or just talk, whatever, come find me!"

Even with my many issues I don't know what I'd do if one of my family members died. After Ginny a quick hug, we both decided that maybe it was time to sleep. Hopefully when we woke we would both be excited to go back and mentally prepared for everything else, because the one thing I've learnt since we started Hogwarts is; there is no such thing as a normal year at Hogwarts.

well there you have it guys ! a million years laters and I finally got back to writing a chapter heheh, im reeeaaaaallllyyy sooorrryyy for just stopping but hopefully this time im actually gona get somewhere :) xxxxxx
