Your spirit twinkles like snowflakes in your eyes

Time can not capture you, nor take, nor disguise

I hold you tight like a book covers the inside pages

Our life is more than a flash, there's no ashes in ages

In the future some lucky reader will find us and see us

They too will see you are more beautiful than Christmas

And the world will say yes, 'Yes you too will have to read her'

Forever my laughter's the gift wrapped in the shifting winter

Because I knew this then, so as my spirit dances in the snow

My ears are the vast life and death listening above and below

Unchanged, unchanged are the moments and your beauty
