Ch: 17 Competition returns

Miyako Pov.......

Today the day Nova return and I am so excited to see him again.
I keep looking through the window waiting for the guys to return. I could of see Boomer kept on checking on me but I didn't care I just wanted to see the guys again. I waited and waited, it was now 1 and still I waited by the window. I started to read so time seem quicker.
Then a portal open outside.

"GUYS THERE HERE!! " I shouted excited running outside.

"I summon thee, to kill the evil which we fight. I use the power of earth. DEMONIC SLAM" I heard Zane voice. Momoko and Kauro came outside too.
Zane jumped through the portal and some small creatures followed him, he use the hammer to slam them back inside the portal. He close the portal and looked at us.
Zane look horrible he was bloody and muddy, his clothes were ripped up and eyes looked pure black then it went back to its dark drown color.

"Missed me. " he said smiling

"Why do you look like that?" Momoko said looking at Zane

"Well I wasn't expecting Scarlet to send me to a place like that but she did. I'm alive so it's fine. " he said smiling and watch Kauro

"You look terrible." Kauro said blushing

" I'll go freshing up for you. Is Nova here yet? " he asked We nodded no and he had a concern look on his face. Zane had a lot of wounds that needed to heal quickly. Since Nova wasn't here yet, Butch had to heal him.

"Looks like Akitio here." Zane said in pain and Momoko look outside.
Another portal was opening. Me and Momoko went outside to greet Akitio.
Akitio came through the portal in his wolf form. He was just as bloody as Zane. He started limping inside then fell on the floor as soon as he reached inside. He was breathing really hard but he manage to ask where Nova was. We replied he wasnt here yet. Akitio also had a concern look after we answer no but he was too weak to worry. Momoko fixed a bath for Akitio to wash off the blood off his fur. She asked Boomer and Brick help him go in the tub since he had trouble walking. Brick stayed in the bathroom with Momoko just in case she needed help with something since Akitio could of barely keep counsiousness. I stayed by the window waiting for Nova. It started to rain really hard and I started to get worried.

"Why Nova had to be the last one out. " Zane said

"What the big deal. " Kauro asked

"The place Scarlet send us shows the worst in anyone. Make sense why she wanted you girl to stay here. I'm just scared you might see a side of Nova, that no one should see. " Zane explain then Momoko came back and Brick was helping Akitio walk.

"Is Nova here yet. " Akitio asked

"Nope" Boomer said then a portal opened

"Nova!!! " I said and went outside even though it was raining

"Miyako wait I don't think you should be there. " Zane shouted
A dark figure came out the portal and it wasn't Nova. It was some kind of beast which made me scream and Boomer came running outside.
Boomer hit the beast with his chains to protect me then the beast was dragged back into the portal from the inside.
It was Nova, he's eyes were cold, he face was lifeless, and his eyes could scare anyone and his body was cover in blood. I saw Boomer shaking as he back up slowly going back inside trying to get me inside too, but I refused to go inside.

"Nova?! " I said with little fear in my voice. He looked at me with his scary eyes and pointed his finger at me. I thought he was gonna attack me but I didn't want to think that.

"Welcome back, I was waiting all day for you." I said smiling but I was shaking inside. The rain made him even scarier.
He narrow his eyes at me

"M-Mmm.... Miya...? " he said struggling I blushed, smiled at him and nodded my head. He kinda smile back to me and gave me a hug.

"I missed you too. " I said hugging him tight and it seem he pass put cause I felt all this dead weigh on me. Boomer helped me carry him inside and carry him to his room.
For the rest of the day the guys went to rest. Momoko made dinner. When Nova wake up he help me heal him with a spell and when he was well enough he heal himself. Then he went to heal the others. At dinner the guys told us about thier journey and I could tell they were holding back details, but I didn't mind I was just glad there back.
