"Welcome to Preston University. I am your counselor for this year. My name is Meghan," said a tall, yet slender brown haired, blue eyed girl.

"Hi. I'm Ariana." Ariana reached a hand out as Meghan grasped it and smiled.

"I'm Chase." I held out my hand and shook Meghan's.

"So, I'm assuming you're boyfriend and girlfriend?" I tensed up at her question. I felt Ari tense up next to me.

"Uh..." awkwardness filled the silent air, "nope. Just friends." I heard Ari answer.

"Just friends," I confirmed as Meghan nodded her head unsure of what to do next. I could tell she was confused, since we were still holding hands at that point.

"Okay... well then, let's go up to your all's room then." Ari and I nodded our heads as Meghan lead us into the large stone building. Roman inspired pillars were supporting the building, while murals of ancient history covered the wall. I gawked at the sight. The place was amazing. I smiled as I continued to admire the college. Soon, we were walking into the elevator, lugging our suitcases behind us. I looked down to Ari, only to see her pre-occupied with her phone. I thought she would be more amazed at the building than her phone. I rolled my eyes and scoffed, making a mental note to talk to her about it later.

After a minute of silence, the elevator doors opened to reveal the seventh floor where our room was located. We stepped out of the elevator and I admired the hallways. It looked just like the hallways of a hotel. We walked a few steps before reaching a red colored door that read "789B" I looked down at Meghan who had the keys held out. She was smiling at me, signaling me to open the door. I happily took the keys from her, slipped into the keyhole and pushed down on the door lever. I opened the door to reveal a rather large looking dorm room styled room. Everything looked brand new. White walls were surrounding white covered beds. Two wooden desks were placed against a wall across from the twin beds. I smiled as I continued to look through the room. I closed the door slightly, looking behind it to see a full length mirror that when opened, had a nice small closet for each of us. Next to it was the bathroom. Two sinks with adequate space in between and three drawers, with one blow dryer for each person. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face as I looked around one more time before turning around to see Ariana. Still. On. Her. Phone. I thought snatching it away from her was rude, so I asked her a question.

"So, Ari, how are you liking the place?" No answer. I looked down at her to see her thumbs moving rapidly. She was texting someone. "Ari?" I repeated. Still no response. "Babe," I teased and immediately, her shot up. What could that possibly mean? I shook it off before she said something, worry filling in her eyes.

"Frankie just texted me."
