Chapter 10: All out

For Alen,
because the kick ass ep he showed me inspired this chapter.

I laid on the bed looking at the ceiling above me. I opened my mouth but couldn't find the words, Gerald laid beside me looking at the ceiling as well.

What the hell was I thinking

I turned my head and looked at Gerald beside me. He noticed me looking at him and looked back at me.

"You know we just became the biggest cliché ever right?" was all I said and he let out a small laugh.

"Maid of honor and best man have sex, yeah I could picture all of this becoming a story" he said and I smiled looking at the covers.

"This is a mess" Gerald said and brought his hand to my hair and started playing around with it. "I'm sorry for being such an ass" he said.

I laid my head on his chest and he had his arm around me, I closed my eyes and slowly drifted off into deep sleep.

I was woken up by a loud knock on the door.

Gerald let out a grunt and I got up to check who was outside through the peephole.

"Shit it's Alex" I said quickly backing away from the door.

"What?" Gerald said as I quickly looked all over the room for my clothes.

"Gerald open up" Alex said from the other side.

Gerald walked up to the door and quickly put on his shirt and his pants.

"Alex" he panted out.

"Have you seem my sister?" Aled asked and walked past him coming into the room.
"I've been calling her all morning and-" he said and stopped when he saw me sitting on the bed. "What the hell are you doing in here?"

Gerald came right behind him and stood there terrified.

"I... I lost my phone, um... Hannah and Felix left and Gerald said I could stay with him" I explained.

"Oh, did he?" I asked looking at me and I simply gave him a toothy grin.

"Yeah" I said and he looked around the room.

"Oh, Thanks man" he said turning around to face Gerald, he nervously smiled at Alex and nodded. "Hannah wants you to call her, I'll se you later" Alex said and headed over towards the door.

Gerald was right behind him and when Alex was about to leave the room he stopped and Gerald crashed against him.

"Oh and Gerald" He said turning around to face Gerald "You lay a single finger on her and I will tear your arms off" He said giving him the same toothy grin I'd just given him. Gerald let out a nervous laugh and nodded.

"Right, uh... she's not even that hot" he said nervously and Alex slammed the door shut, Gerald walked back into the room.

"He knows" he said and looked at me.

"What?"

"He knows"

"Oh come on he has the brains of a 5 year old" I said getting off of the bed.

"How did you get dressed so fast anyway?" he asked.

"I got my talents, now move I need to call Hannah" I said moving him aside.

I took my phone from the sink and dialed Hannah's number.

"Dude where the hell were you?" Hannah asked picking up immedeately.

"Uh..."

Getting it on with the best man

"Busy" I said

"Right..." she said "Anyway, I just got a phone call from Natalie, she's in Salt lake city" Hannah said. "She's at her dad's"

"Wait her dad dad?" Natalie's mom lived with her stepfather, but he was more of a dad than her real dad ever had been.

"We need to go get Natalie and drag her sorry ass back to L.A, I'll see you in 20, lobby" she said and hung up.

I started picking up my things from the floor from all around the room.

"We're leaving" I said

"No" Gerald said sitting on the bed.

"Gerald get your stuff come on"

"I said no" he said and I looked at him. "I'm not chasing down your psycho friend all over the country anymore" he said.

"Gerald" I said.

"No, I'm done here" he said and turned his back on me.

"You know just for five seconds I thought you could stop being the selfish asshole you've always been"

"Yeah, why cause I slept with you?" he scoffed and I stood there quiet looking at him for a few seconds.

"Whatever" I said and turned away.

"Wait, I... I didn't mean to" he said trying to stop me.

"No I get it, I'm just another one of your hoes or whatever, I have to go" I said turning around.

"He's cheating on her" he said out of nowhere.

"What?" I said

"Jack's cheating on Natalie"
