*Claire's POV*

Seriously, walking around here is really confusing and tiring. There are two things keeping me motivated right now and that is to find my sister, plus to avoid the creepy looking people here. The time may be running out for God to make his decision to sacrifice others for the safety of one, or vice versa, but I will do anything it takes to bring Caitlynn back to her designated home whether the time runs out or not.

Alejandro

I shouldn't be worrying so much about a guy I just met, additionally putting it out there that he is a devil...I'm just going to keep him out of my mind and focus on the main priority right now.

Alejandro

Wait, no, please stop...

Alejandro

I can't do it and I won't do it.

Alejandro

This is forbidden love. I'm done with this. I'll just go on that date with him and that'll be it, no feelings attached.

"Caitlynn? Please tell me your here somewhere!" I cried out with tears beginning to form. Dang, I haven't been here for long and I'm already breaking down. I'm beginning to feel drowsy, especially since I've been walking for hours.

It was almost six, so I decided to go back to my temporary home and get ready for the date.

It took me a while, but I managed to find my way back. Once I came in, I was greeted by Audrey and two other females.

"Hi, I'm Claire," I flashed them with a smile.

"This is my new roommate. I was hoping to get someone more rebellious and bitchy, but she'll have to do," Audrey laughed and turned towards her friends. They all introduced themselves and I learned their names were Stephanie and Megan.

"Wish I could stay, but I've got to take off again," I apologized.

"Nah, it's okay, do what you gotta do," Audrey lightly pushed me.

I went to my room and began putting on an outfit I saw in the closet. There was a short, laced black dress that was the most beautiful thing I've ever laid my eyes on and black heels that made my short figure a few inches taller. Now, being an angel, black is not my go to color, but you have to blend in. This may be a little formal, but I also want to make a better impression than I did when I first bumped into him.

I heard a knock on the door, so I quickly opened it in hopes of it being Alejandro, but instead, was frightened by the piece of paper that was placed on the front steps...

*Alina's POV*

It hasn't been long since Claire left, but I still mustn't say anything, especially to God.

"Good morning, Alina. Breakfast is downstairs if you'd like some," her mother greeted me at the doorway.

"Thank you, I'll be down shortly," I smiled to lighten up the mood. I can tell there's tension and worry going on in her aura.

"Where's Claire?" she asked with a confused expression spreading across her face.

"She...uh, went to work early!" I responded. Gee, nice save Alina. With that being said, she nodded and went back downstairs. It shouldn't be too difficult to not let anyone know that Claire has gone to the most forbidden place.

I think everything will be fine as long as I take care of Claire's new clients and pretend that she's busy doing something...I really hope this works because if not, we're both going to be in huge trouble.

As I was about to head down to the Guardian Angel Program, I was put into a halt when a friend of mine named Jasmine began calling me.

"Alina! Alina! God requested to see you and I can't tell if he's angry or worried! You need to see him right away!" she yelled in fear.

Oh dear, please help me...
