CHAPTER TWO

We only had two hours to get ready,which I thought was enough time to put on a dress, but Kalsie was impatient, I guess that's what you get for having a mum as a model. She strode over to her desk, she had set up a makeup station with eyeshadows,primers,blush,lipstick and all the fancy things I didn't know about 'sit' instructed Kalsie, I sat. I was wrong about having plenty of time, my face and body was a mess of scratches and blood ' not to mention your HAIR!' And unfortunately she was right, 'get in the shower and wash your hair!' I did what I was told, Kalsie could go from sweet pixy to angry goblin in seconds if people didn't do what she said. I peeled off my jeans and hoodie and stood there naked and cold, my reflection stared back at me I shuddered and got into the shower and washed my hair with shampoo and conditioner then I got out, the air was cold and my skin was prickly, I grabbed two towels: one for me and one for my thick hair, I wrapped a towel around my naked body and put on a large t-shirt that Kalsie's ex-boyfriend had left. Once my hair was dried, Kalsie took me to her wardrobe. it had all the dresses that Kalsie had previously worn 'I know the perfect thing for you!' She said with enthusiasm and ducked through the doors of her fashion-forward universe. I sat on the bed thinking of that demigod I had seen today in the Labrinth, I wondered if he was okay 'stop it Isabelle' I scolded myself 'he was going to kill you anyway'.

Kalsie put down a dress beside me, a dark velvet green, the dress was was long, it would at least reach my ankles, the sleeves were cut halfway down the arm 'it's beautiful' I whispered in awe 'the girls are going to be SO jealous when I'm done with you!' She booped my nose 'well what are you waiting for? PUT IT ON!...I have to admit I looked good, the dress looked like it was MADE for me, my long auburn hair cascaded down my back like a Blood Red waterfall, my fringe was pinned back with a gold pearl I sighed 'if only Percy could see me' I thought to myself 'stupid! Snap out of it!' I looked at Kalsie, her blonde hair was braided at the side and she wore a knee length Black dress, the chest area glittered with precious jewels like ruby,emerald,jasper,sapphire and amathist, I noticed she was carrying her Stygian iron sword in her sash ' I lost my dagger fighting a demigod' Kalsie shrugged 'borrow one of mine, they're under my bed' I reached under her bed and pulled out a Stygian iron dagger and tucked it onto my sash I grinned at her 'what are we waiting for? Let's go!'
