Well, this is square one for me, my first story. I am so happy to be able to write for you guys. I will be writing all genres of stories, this being my favorite. I will take story requests via message. Won't ask for votes, if you feel it is appropriate, then go ahead. If not, that's fine!

I slammed my fist down in anger.
"Look dad, I already told you, yes I don't have a job YET, but as soon as I tame a dragon of my own, then I will. I've made up my mind, and I've got my sights set." I glared at him from across the breakfast table.
"There you go again, wasting your time on stupid dreams of chasing dragons, even though you know that it will never happen. If I ran around, yelling ' uh mah gawd, dragoons!!!', we wouldn't have a steady income, a home, food, clothes on our backs...", he mocked. Dad has always said things like how I never amount to anything, couldn't tame a dragon if I tried, and just accusing me of being a sorry excuse for a son.
"Mommy, what are they yelling about?" I would know that voice anywhere. It was my sister, Ari.
"Adult stuff, sweetie." mom yawned, " Why don't you go wash the cat, while we talk about it?" My sister nodded cheerily in agreement, and dashed off after the cat, fluffy, who had heard the idea, and was already looking for a place to hide.
"Mom, before you tal-", I started.
"Honey, I'm with your dad on this one. You can't just wake up and suddenly become a tamer, you of all people should know." she said kindly. Dad however, was not so polite.
"I'm not suprised he didn't." I could feel my bottled up anger reach its max. I couldn't take it anymore. I thought, then spoke.
"YOU KNOW WHAT?! IF I'M NOT THE SON YOU WANT, THEN SO BE IT!" Mom and dad were taken aback. Dad started to laugh.
"Shut up and sit down! You're just talk! HAHA- OW!" I shoved him down, and with a slam, I shut the front door behind me.
