Legend Of The Eternal Dragon

Chapter Four

      I slowly reached my hand out to the dragon, terrified that I would lose a hand. That's when I felt it. I felt the scaly surface of the dragon's head. All was quiet. Then, one by one, for the first time in my life, I get applause.

      "Leo," dad calls, completely healed by Urabe's magic, " come here for a moment." I approach my father, hugging him.

      "I'm sorry, I was a scum bag, I feel like a jerk. I should have been more supportive." I was so relieved to hear that, not because of karma, but because it showed he really did love me. I was expecting him to say more, but all was, once again, silent. I turned, expecting to see the dragon devouring someone, but she simply stood there.

     "I'm sorry." This caused me to fall over.

      "You can talk?!?!", I yell.

      "Yes," she nods, " I can speak many languages. English is one of them. My name's Scarlet. Nice to meet you." My head is spinning.
     "Oh my god, I'm a dragon tamer! I did it!" I looked at Scarlet. I began to think back to the days when he would draw pictures of dragons, most having odd proportions. Reds, blues, and every color in between. This was the moment I had been waiting for all my life. I then realized a problem, feeling bad. Where would Scarlet stay? I looked at her sincerely, explaining. I almost jumped as Rocky patted my back hard.

      "Well then, why don't we all go and build us a place to stay? The four of us, and of course, our new friend." Scarlet roared with glee, scaring us all. Then, we all began to laugh.

I put down the journal, all of us remembering that day one year ago. Since then, the house was built, and we all became a team of adventurers, saving people for a living.

PHEW! I cam SO sorry! I took a four month break from wattpad because writer's block was starting to give me anxiety issues, but I'm back! I'll be continuing this, and doing other stories (i will take suggestions), just anything to be back to doing what I love. Also, just something to think about, how will the bond of Leo and his friends change now that it is the present (you'll ring out how much time has passed later.)
