6. Fundraising

Ian's POV:

Today I'm going to this fundraising at a shelter called Pets4U. Other celebrities are attending it too and for what I know Nina is going, I just hope she doesn't bother me and makes a scene. She didn't take it very well when I broke up with her, I mean, I wasn't expecting her to but she started to shout and threw a huge tantrum. I just couldn't be in a relationship where we would barely see each other  and when we were together we were always arguing, she was also very possessive and jealous and it was begining to affect our acting on Vampire Diaries so it was for the best.

My manager called me to say that a car was already waiting for me at the entrance of the hotel. I thanked her and hung up the phone. Then I put my jacket on and went to the entrance and got in the car. As the car pulled away I stared at the window, it was a hot day , the sky was so blue that there was not even a cloud in sight. I sighted as I remembered that girl from the park. Why did I keep thinking about her? It was just some random girl... but... I don't know but it doesn't matter, I will never see her again. I was lost in my thoughts as I heard the driver say, "We're here Mr. Somerhalder". I got out and I was led to the red carpet to take some photos and get interviewed.

"Somerhalder!", I heard someone shout so I turnd around to see that Paul was there too.

"Hey man, I didn't know you were coming to this too, you should've told me."

"It was a last time thing you know, it's good to see you Ian! And I'm glad they're renewing Vampire Diaries for another season, I can't wait to start shooting!, Paul said very amused.

"Me too! It's going to be all fun except for Nina, I don't know how things are gonna work out on set", I said.

"By the way she's already here!", Paul said pointing at the car Nina was coming out. Thank God they were calling me to th red carpet, that way I didn't have to put up with her, at least for now.

I was taking a look around Pets4U with Paul and some friends that were there too when I saw her, the girl from the park, it was her. I was going to talk to her but was stopped by Nina who was in front of me now.

"Hi Ian, how are you? We haven't talked in so long baby!", se said with a smile on her lips.

"Nina please don't talk to me and don't call me baby, we're not together anymore and I need to go talk to someone so excuse me", I said in a very serious tone, making my way past her.

I went straight to the girl from the park who was with two more girls and then she looked at me and her jaw fell.

Khloé's POV:

I was talking to Emily and Hanna when I looked to the side and saw him... Ian... it can't be, it can't. He made his way to me and said "Hi, I think that we already met, at the park, I mean. I'm Ian but you probably already know that."

I was speechless, I just froze there and I could her Emily and Hanna fangirling in the back.

"I... I'm Khloé. It's nice to meet you properly without all of those fans after you.", I managed to say.

"I know this seems a little bit odd but... would you like to have dinner with, tomorrow night, if it's good to you?", he asked very nervously with a shy smile.

I couldn't belive I was being asked out to dinner by Ian, this is a dream so I pinched myself just to be sure and he was still here so this could only be true.

"Yes!!! I mean, of course I would love to have dinner with you!", I said nervously.

"Great, I'll pick you up at eight, here is my number for you to send me your address and please don't give it to anyone else", he said with a big smile.

"Of course, I won't give it to anyone."

Then someone came to his side and whispered something in his ear and stood beside him.

"I'm sorry, I have to go already but I'm looking forward to tomorrow night, Khloé", he then kissed my hand and left.

Everyone was looking at me and of course Emily and Hanna came straight to me with their mouths opened, they were just as chocked as I was. Then we had a group hug and I told them exactly what he said to me. They just said in unison, "It's time for us to go shopping!!!".
