Chapter 1

--Flashback--

**Liam's POV**

"Okay, listen when we get to my flat stay away from my baby sister. She's been through a lot in the past few years and she doesn't need to add heartbreak on her list of problems understand?" I told the lads on the drive to my flat for the week.

"I don't think you have to worry about Harry over here fancying your little sister. He has a thing for older women if I recall." Louis joked.

"Oi, shut up carrot boy." Harry spat back.

"Yeah and Zayn may be too vain for her liking. And Niall eats like an elephant. No offense." Louis added.

"None taken. I love my food nobody can change that." Niall replied patting his stomach. We all laughed except Zayn who seemed to be in deep thought.

"Zayn, come back from lala land." I snapped my fingers in front of his face.

"Huh? Oh sorry I spaced out." He said rubbing the back of his head.

"You heard what I said though right?" I asked. He nodded his head. I gave him a thumbs up. I really hope they don't try anything with Makayla.

We pulled up into the drive way of my flat that I grew up with my sisters for years. I decided to surprise Makayla, Ruth, and Nicola by coming home a week earlier then I was supposed to. We filed out of the car and went to get our bags. Once I get to the front door I pull out the flat keys that haven't been used in a while. I opened the door and let the lads and my dad get in first.

"Thanks for picking us up dad." I say once he passes me on his way in.

"You're welcome. Your mum was cooking dinner and your sisters are not supposed to know that you're here yet." He replied.

"Make yourselves at home. I'll be back." I told the lads as I put my things by the door.

"And please don't break anything." I add going to the kitchen. I walk into the kitchen and see my mum with her back towards me at the stove cooking what smelt like spaghetti. I walk up behind her and wrap my arms around my mum.

"Liam, oh how I missed you." She said turning around. I kiss her cheek.

"I'll be right back I'm going up stair really quick." I say as I exit the kitchen. I run up stairs and look to see if the doors are open. Nope, all of the girl's rooms, except Nicola's, room doors are open. I knock really fast and loud on the door to annoy the hell out of them. Nicola opens the door takes a quick look at me before yelling,

"Liam, shut the hell up and leave me alone." Before closing the door in my face. 3...2...

"Wait, Liam?!?" one of them yelled on the other side. The opens again and this time Nicola and Ruth are both at the door. They tackled me with hugs.

"Oh my God, Liam you have no idea how much we missed you." Ruth said.

"I missed you too. Hey where's Kayla?" I asked noticing our little sister was missing from this group.

"Dunno, ask mum." Nicola says with a shrug.

"Okay, well the others are downstairs if you want to meet them." I say walking down back to the kitchen. I look to my right and see Niall and Louis play fighting over something. Harry and Zayn are in deep conversation.

"What are you two doing?" I asked quirking my eyebrow.

"Louis took my phone." Niall said.
