The school had reopened and everyone was walking into the assembly hall. I wished that school would be closed again. Those few days at home were so great. My friends Annalise and Acacia, who were twins, had found their soul mates, the love of their lives, their mates as well as getting to shift for the first time. They both had beautiful wolves. The moon goddess had surely blessed them, and here I was stuck at school. I wish I was sixteen too, I wish the struggle was over.

"Hello Melina . " I didn't know who said that. Nobody at this school knew my name, nobody had bothered to try to find out and I was happy that way. And anyway, my mother made me change my name when I registered at this school that is why the voice called me Melina instead of Delaney. I turned my head around only to see him. I quickly turned my head back around and ignored him throughout the whole assembly.

When the teacher had finished speaking and the assembly was over, I made my escape. I knew I should have been thrilled that he knew my name, that he had bothered to find out about me. But the plan was to forget about him not to fall harder for him.

Instead of going to my first lesson I went to my art corner in the library and started to sketch. I sketched the person from last night.

"You know it's funny how little attention you want to give me at school compared to how long you can stare at me for at the park. " He did remember me, so he had intentionally ignored me the first day he came. I was red with embarrassment and anger. The whole room began to boil. I expected him to leave as it was getting really hot and I couldn't control it, yet he stood there fanning himself instead.

"Aren't you going to leave? " I didn't expect those to be the first words I would say to him.

" So, that's the voice of my stalker. " He made me sound like some kind of creep that needed to be caged. Then he laughed and my knees became weak. His laugh kept repeating in my head. His mouth was moving but I heard nothing.

" Hello.... Did you hear anything I just said?" I looked at him with a blank expression trying to contain my embarrassment, a smirk grew on his face.

"I said that my name is--" he was cut off.

"You two are supposed to be in class, tardiness shall not be accepted in this school, therefore your parents will be called in." It was the head of the school. The whole point of me being at this school was to keep myself low key, not to expose myself to trouble.

Mother walked in with disappointment written all over her face. He walked out beside who I assumed was his father. His father bumped into my mother and I saw her shiver. As if she had previously had an encounter with him, that wasn't pleasant. He looked at her and apologised. His eyes. I had seen them before.
