"Are you sure that you want me as apart of this pack, I'm just an outsider." He said trying to catch up to my speed as I walked towards the room that would soon be his.

"I know what I meant, and I meant what I said." I paused and turned around to face him, but due to how untimely my pause was it made him stumble forward, pushing me back but he caught me just in time making us come face to face with one another. He let go of me and I cleared my throat as I took one step back.

"Like I said, you're here to stay. " I said whilst blushing.

"But I don't have elemental powers and I don't know anyone here."

"You don't need powers, and besides, you know me."

"I don't even know your name."

" I'm Delaney, Delaney Daciana. " I said holding out my hand as he shook it in return. I felt sparks flying within me. Could what I said have been true? Could he really be my mate? But it is too soon to tell, I'll just wait.

"Delaney I need you to--" Mother stopped talking as she saw us two standing there gazing into each others eyes. I let his hand go that very moment.

"I'll come back later...." She said as she winked at me and mouthed 'he's hot' making me laugh.

" Like I said, you're here to stay. " I said as I waved goodbye and bid him a good night.

I woke up earlier for school today than usual as I knew that today would be my last day as I had now gotten a teacher who would help me control my powers, my very own father.

As I was leaving my room I saw Aidan come out of his room with nothing on him but a towel as water dripped down his body from head to toe. My jaw dropped.

He turned to face me and laughed when he saw my reaction.

"You know Delaney, it's rude to stare, if you have something to say you should just say it to me now. " I composed myself.

"Many people walk around and I do believe the last thing they wanna see is a guy in a towel."

"You don't seem to be complaining..." I blushed and hid my face behind my bag.

" Why aren't you dressed?" I said avoiding the comment that he just made.

" I don't have any other clothes than the ones I came with, and they're really dirty."

"Isn't dirt a boys' natural state?"

" Oh ha ha." He said in a sarcastic tone. "Do you know where I could get clothes? "

"I'll take you shopping later, but for now try the laundry room."

"Thank you, but why later? Can't we go as soon as I get dressed?"

" I have to get to school. " I said cheerfully knowing that this was my last day.

" School, right... shoot. " He barely whispered.

"Is anything wrong?" I asked curiously.

" Huh? Um no, I'm fine, I'll, I'll see you later... " The last thing he said before walking into the direction of the laundry room and me down the stairs, out the door.

" Melina wait up!" He yelled from far behind me trying to catch up, but us werewolves were known for our speed and so he struggled to catch up. I thought I had finally lost him when I turned around to see how far he was, but I turned around again only to see him standing right in front of me as if he had appeared from thin air.

"I told you to wait up." He said panting, mustering all the breath he had left to form that sentence. I stated walking again at a fast pace.

" I can't, I have to hurry up and get to school on time to tell them that I'm leaving." He stopped me from walking any further.

" You're leaving? " He looked at me with with eyes that made me want to melt in his arms. I looked down.

" Um yeah, that's kinda what I just said, so um... " I tried saying it so that it would seem like I didn't care about him, but I did, I did care, I cared way more than I wanted to. He bent down so that no matter where I looked he could still look straight into my eyes.

" Stay... "

" But for what? "

" For me. "

I walked the rest of the journey to school on my own. I was sure I was ready to leave, leave everything that I didn't even want in the first place, leave him behind and only remember him as a good memory from a difficult time.

I still had time before the bell would ring so I went into my favorite place, the art place in the corner of the library. When I was here I had time to think time to be myself. It was the only place out of my packs territory that I could fully be myself.

I heard the sound of panting from behind me. I knew it was him.

"Why-- are you--why-- are-- you lea-ving? " He said trying to catch his breath.

" You wouldn't understand. All you need to know is that I'm leaving because this is not where I belong." I said with my back turned towards him.

" But--"

"But nothing! " I said cutting him off because I didn't want him to continue, it would stop me from leaving.

" Hear me out, think of everything you're leaving behind, all the people who care about you."

" Be real! No one here cares about me."

He looked at me but said nothing, it was almost as if he was going to say something but shut his mouth before he could form any words.

" Oh please, don't tell me you care about me." I desperately hoped that was what his actions were indicating or this could turn out horribly embarrassing.

" And what if I say that I do? Would you stay? "

" Of course" His face lit up.

"Not. " I finished my sentence.

" Don't be like this, just stay. "

" Stay for what? "

" Don't ask, just stay! "

" No! I've made up my mind and that's that! "

" Don't be difficult! "

" Just leave me alone! "

" DELANEY! "
