"Mum there is nothing to explain" I said walking into my room. "Teesha your ex is lying on our couch what's not to explain you know what I think about that boy" mum replied. " mum he got kicked out of home and he needs somewhere to stay" I said. "He is famous he should be filled with money" mum replied. "Look that's not the point can't he just stay here" I begged. "No I want him out by the morning" mum replied closing the door behind her.

Great now how am I gonna break the news to Reece I said he could stay as long as he wants I figure something out in the morning. I crawled into bed and fell asleep to the sound of rain hitting up against my window. I woke up the next morning to the crack of thunder. Although I love the rain I wish it would stop sometimes. I walked down stairs to see Reece sitting at the island Bench reading the newspaper. "Goodmorning" I said pulling up a seat next to him. "Morning" Reece replied.

"So how did you sleep" I asked. "Good actually" he said. Reece looked like a total mess he had alcohol all over his shirt his hair was a mess and not to mention his breath smelt of alcohol. "How you feeling" I asked. "Like shit I have a massive headache" Reece replied. "Maybe if you didn't drink you would be right ill go get some panadol" I said getting off my chair and heading over to the cabinet. "Yeah maybe your right" Reece replied. "I know I'm right I'm never wrong here this should help" I said passing him the tablets and a glass of water.

"Thanks" Reece replied taking the water from my hands. "Don't mention it" I said sitting back in my seat. "Reece Is there anywhere you can stay" I asked. "No Dion got kicked out but he has gone to his mums" Reece replied. "Oh" i said looking down at the bench. "Why's that" Reece asked. "Mum doesn't really want you here but ill figure something out" I said. "When does she want me to leave" Reece asked. "This morning" I replied. "Oh maybe I should get going then" Reece said getting off his chair.

"No wait I have an idea it's crazy and insane but it might just work out." I replied. "Ok tell me" Reece said. "You can hide out in my room my mum hardly goes in my room she works from morning to night anyways so it's not like you will be trapped in there" I replied. "Okay" Reece said looking at me weird. "What" I replied. "I never knew you were so smart" Reece said. "Well you better go upstairs in my room because my mum will be up any minute to go to work" I replied pushing him up to my room. "I'll be up here when she leaves" i said closing the door.

I heard my mums alarm blaring. So I decided to get some breakfast for both me and her. "Morning mum" I said as she came into the kitchen. "Morning sweetie" she replied kissing the top of my forehead. "I got you some breakfast" I replied. "Thanks is Reece gone" she asked. "Yeah he left this morning" I replied. "Good" mum said taking a bite into her breakfast. "Anyways hunny I can't eat all this I got to get ready" mum said leaving the kitchen and heading upstairs.

10 mintues later mum came down all dressed ready for work. " I'll be home at 7:00pm will you be fine cooking dinner for yourself" she asked. " yep ill be fine have a good day" I said as she closed the door behind her. I quickly ran to the window to watch her pull out of the drive way to make sure the coast was clear. "Reece you can come out now" I yelled from the lounge room.

"Why was this under your bed" Reece asked coming down with a shoe box of all the stuff Reece brought me from birthday cards to pictures and drawings.
