Once we drove out from the car park we headed towards Lucy's house to drop her off home. I couldn't believe Reece had the guts to actually talk to me after everything he has put me through after every tear I shredded over him after every sleepless night wondering if I was just being dramatic about the situation all lead up to this day. "Ah teesha hello" Lucy said snapping me out of my thoughts. I shook my head and came back to planet earth. "You ok" she asked. "Yeah just got something on my mind that's all" I said focusing on the road.

"Wanna talk about it" she replied. "Nah you wouldn't understand you know" I said. "Ok" she replied as I pulled up out front of her house. "Thanks for today" she said while opening up the door. "It's all good" I replied as she shut the car door. I started the engine and drove off home but for some reason I couldn't help but think why Reece would confront me like this morning on the news he said I cheated on him ah he makes me so angry. I had pulled up to my house I grabbed my shopping bags and locked my car up and headed to the front door

When I saw a letter on my front door. "Hey teesha it's Dion ill be over at 2:00pm" the note said. How does he even know where I live. I didn't think much of it and unlocked my front door and locked it behind me. I made my way upstairs and placed my shopping bags on my bed and put my items that I had brought away. I glanced at the clock and saw it was 1:30pm "crap Dion will be here soon" I said while heading down stairs to quickly clean up the mess in the lounge room and kitchen.

After everything was done I heard a knock at the door I clearly knew it was Dion so there was no point guessing who it was. I made my way to the door and unlocked it. "Dion" I said opening it up. "Teesha" Dion replied while pulling me in for a hug and then someone popped around the corner yep it was Reece. "Come in" I said opening my door wider. Dion came in and as Reece was about to walk up I slammed the door in his face. "Sorry dogs aren't aloud inside" I said just before I slammed it

"Your joking right" Dion replied as I was walking to the couch. "Joking about what" I asked. "Not letting Reece inside" Dion replied. "No I'm not joking" I said while taking a seat on the couch. "Come on teesha give him a chance he is a different person now" Dion replied giving me the puppy eyes. "Really Dion" I said getting off my chair and walking over to the front door. "Reece you can come in" I replied opening the door wider as he came in and took a seat on my couch.

"Um I'm sitting there" I said closing the door behind me. "You can always sit on my lap" Reece replied. "I'd rather sit on a bed of nails before I ever think about sitting on your lap" I said while pulling up a chair far away from reece. "Ouch" Reece replied running his finger through his hair. "You know it's not sunny in here you can take off your sunnies" I said glaring at him. "My sunnies get the girls" he replied. "Well there not gonna get me so take them off" I said.

It was awkward silence for about 3 minutes. "So what brought you to move here" Dion asked. "Needed a fresh start and to leave the past behind but if I knew the past was going to follow me I could have moved further away" I said looking in Reece's direction directing that comment towards him. "Oh that's awesome" Dion replied. "Can I please borrow your bathroom" Dion asked. Really did he really have to say that and leave me in a room alone with Reece. "Up the hall 2nd left" I said. "Thanks" he replied getting off the couch and heading down the hall.

"So" Reece said winking at me. "You wink at me again and ill cut your eye lids off" I replied. "I like them naughty" Reece said. "Ew can you not" I replied. "Can I ask you something" Reece said leaning further back into his chair. Here we go he is gonna wanna know why I dumped him ah so not looking forward to this question.
