"Teesha that was not very nice to go closing the door on my date" mum said standing at my door. "Meh what can you do" I replied looking into my magazine. "There's a lot I can do young lady" mum said exiting the room. "I'll be home at 11" mum yelled from down stairs. I heard to front door close shut and her dates car skidding down the road. That is a perfect example why I hate my mums dates. She thinks she is a teenager all over again.

I headed Down stairs and decided to watch tv when I heard my doorbell ring. "Who on earth could that be" I said getting off my chair and walking over to the door I looked through the peep hole and saw it was Reece. "Reece what are you doing here" I asked opening up the door. All I could smell was alcohol on his breath. "Teesha please let me in" he begged. "Reece your drunk go home" I said trying to hold him up. I couldn't leave Reece out here in the state he was in.

I helped him inside the house and placed him on the couch. "I'll go get you a pillow" I said heading upstairs to grab a pillow and blanket off my bed. I came down stairs to see Reece throwing up. "Oh that is nasty Reece" I replied trying to hold back myself from dry reaching. "Here" I said passing him the pillow and blanket. I grabbed him a glass of water to wash the taste of vomit out of his mouth. "Here rest up please" I replied passing him a glass of water. "Teesha" Reece said grabbing onto my hand.

"Yes Reece" I replied looking at him in the eyes. "Thank you" he said pulling his hand away and taking a sip of his water. "Your welcome" I replied. As much as I hate the kid at the moment I couldn't just leave him on my door step. "Why are you in the state you are in" I asked hovering over the couch. "Mum kicked me out I had no where to go so I drank my problems away" he said. "Well you can stay here as long as you need" I replied.

Damit did I really just say that what have I got myself into. "Thanks teesha" he said snuggling his head into his pillow and drifting off to sleep. I can't believe I just said he could stay what would my mum think and most of fall what was I thinking. I headed upstairs and sat in bed flicking through my tweets on twitter. I heard a car pull up i looked out the window it was my mum and her date. I saw them kiss and couldn't help but gag. I'm proud of my mum for going out there and trying to new things but she could atleast date people who aren't tools. "Teesha I'm home" mum yelled from door stairs.

I jumped off my bed and stood at the top of the stairs. "Shh" I said. "Why" mum replied looking confused. I pointed to the couch where she saw Reece laying there. "Teesha" mum said looking at me with her hands on her hips. "I'll explain in the morning mum goodnight" I replied walking away. "No teesha you will explain now" mum said coming upstairs
