Hey guys, I'm sorry for the delay of updating and don't worry for those who have me requests, I'll get to them, but I want to do this personal one that touches me.

It was another Christmas and Stiles was yet again alone with no one there but himself in his lonely house. He just wanted to be alone this time without people trying. A flashback to the previous year, Christmas day, when he lost something he thought he would have forever, ran through his mind.

~Flashback~

It was like any other Christmas they've had before. The pack was all together and everyone was happy. Derek and Stiles were hosting the party this year in our house and almost everybody was there. Scott, Kira, Isaac, Liam, Malia, Jackson, Erica, Boyd, Cora, Peter, Lydia, Melissa, Peter, Chris, Deaton, Danny and Parrish, all except for the twins, Aiden and Ethan, who were traveling and got stuck in Europe.

Anyways, Stiles was cooking in the kitchen when he realized he needed an important ingredient he didn't have.

"Derek," Stiles yelled, trying to get his attention, "Can you come to the kitchen real quick?"

Derek rushed to the kitchen knowing that if Stiles needed something while cooking then it was best to go see what he wanted.

"Yes honey," Derek said while cautiously walking inside the kitchen.

Stiles laughed and beckoned Derek forward.

"Come here and no you're not in trouble Der. I just need for you to get something for me," Stiles said while laughing at Derek.

Derek visibly relaxed at Stiles' words and walked further into the kitchen.

"What do you need honey?" Derek asked putting his arms around Stiles while watching him cut up some vegetables.

"Der, I need for you to go to the grocery store real quick and buy me some flour. Seems as though we've ran out of it," Stiles replied.

"Sure I'll be back before you can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious," Derek exclaimed like a child, jumping around.

Stiles chuckled at Derek's childish antics and shook his head trying to cover it up.

Derek saw him and walked over to Stiles, before kissing him on the cheek. Stiles laughed and urged Derek to go quickly.

Derek kissed him once more, before walking out the kitchen, whistling with the keys in his hands.

Stiles shook his head with a smile on his face and continued cutting up the vegetables.

Thirty minutes later, and Derek still hadn't returned. This was unusual especially for Derek who would always be back in five minutes.

Stiles tried to clear his mind, making up an excuse saying maybe some stores were closed and that's why Derek was taking a long time.

Before long, an hour passed and now Stiles was really worried. Putting down the knife and washing up his hand in the sink, Stiles walked out to the living room. Reaching there he saw that everyone had a sober, distraught look on their faces. Looking towards the door, Stiles saw familiar lights taking turns shining bright.

Stiles shook his head trying to speak but it was like mouth wouldn't work.

His dad walked up and tried to calm him down.

"I'm so sorry Stiles. He was on his way back when a drunk driver ran into him and and he lost control of his car and ran into a tree," John said in a mournful voice.

Hearing this, Stiles dropped to the floor clutching his chest. Unexplainable pain racked throughout his body and he let out an agonizing scream.

Hearing his screams, the pack all let out cries. Their alpha had just died and his mate was pain and nobody could do anything to help him.

Soon after, Lydia let a scream only the pack would understand, and everyone truly knew that their alpha was dead and would not be coming through the door with a little smirk on his face.

~Flaskback over~

Ever since that day, the pack had tried to help him become the person he once was but nothing worked. Ethan and Aiden came back only to sense pain and sadness in the air.

They let out cries and Aiden had to hold up Ethan as they walked through the door.

Every Christmas was worst than the other and eventually the pack stopped trying. They all knew that there was no hope.

John prayed every day for his son. Seeing his child become a shell of the person he once was, hurt him so much, and he prayed to God and hoped that his prayers would be heard and answered.

Stiles lost so much weight and barely got out of the house. This Christmas would be his last he realized because he couldn't take the pain anymore.

He walked over to the bathroom and looked through his cabinets trying to find his sleeping pills.

Upon finding them, he trudged back to their bedroom, and sat down on the bed. He opened up the bottle, and swallowed all of them.

Laying on the bed, he smiled a little smile and couldn't wait to see Derek again.

The pack all came to the house hours after the death only to find out harshly what happened. John tried to wake Stiles up but it was no use. He lost his only son and he felt pain like never before. He failed his late wife, Claudia, to do the last thing she requested before dying.

Scott tried to stop the tears but it was no use. His best friend..his brother was dead and he wasn't even there for him. He felt horrible.

Isaac felt the lost the most, Stiles, the one who took care of him, so loved him when no one did, was dead and Isaac couldn't handle it and ran out the room, tears falling down his face.

Lydia was no better, the usually sarcastic, quick to reply girl, was at a loss of words. Stiles, the guy who once wanted her, who became her best friend, who truly saw her, was lying there dead and she couldn't help but scream. She turned towards Peter and cried out for her friend.

Everyone finally gathered around their loved one, and all took turns saying what they loved about him and got their final words said to him.

They all knew he would finally be at peace and be with the one they loved.

All walking out, they didn't notice Stiles' spirit watching them along with Derek, his mom, and the Hale family. He was sad that he did this to them, but he needed to be with Derek. The feeling was too strong and it finally consumed him and he gave in.

Blowing a final kiss to all of them, he turned around and walked into the light with Derek and everyone else. Promising that they would see each other one day.

Writing this was so painful. I'm sorry for taking so long to finish this but after watching something it made me realize that not all fairytales have a happy ending. Don't hate me because believe me this affected me a lot. This one-shot is based on the couple, LuRe, aka Luke and Reid. They're on a old show, As The World Turns, that used to be on CBS. Reid died in his car which was hit by a train, trying to save someone's life. They aren't supernatural beings, but it was obvious that they were soulmates. I'm sorry if you guys cried while reading, trust me I'm crying too. I would say enjoy but it's too painful to do so.
