Chapter 5 : In the span of 10 years

         school courtyard 12 : 29

In the daily Exciting Event was happening, the battle between the Aces of Millienna school,
"An Idiot will always remain an idiot, including you," William insulted.
"I'll finally win today and  make you have a taste of your own words," Aster announced confidently. "Such big words considering that you would take it back a while later," William challenged. Both boys ignited their Weapons, Aster whipped out his  Sword out of his scabbard, and William clutched the book he was always holding and started mumbling chants.

          School cafeteria 12 :30

"How do you even deal with those two?" Iza questioned.
"Um.......,I guess I'm used to it?"I guessed. Its been Ten years now, and now I'm treating this life as if it is normal like getting the top scores on tests,Being started at every where I go, and Going everywhere with bodyguards.

     Suddenly sounds like BANG!,CLANG!,and CLACK! Were hears outside, even though it was from a mile away, it sounded like someone was using a megaphone but ten times more louder. "Whoa, it's happening again!" Iza alerted. 

The cafeteria windows were crowed with audiences and curious views to see if the tie score were to be broken today. They even had a crowd of their own in the area they always fought, the sun and moon beautifully carved and shared a circle space that both had faces on them. Everyday Aster would stand in the sun side and William would Stand on the moon side. The was also a legend related to that single spot in the school , when you challenge a person to a duel, you would end up victorious. Some people believed the legend until Aster Challenged William everyday in that single spot and would always ended in a tie.

I slumped down into my seat as my face flushed tomato red. Aster and William fights almost daily, and when that happens they destroy school property, always injure themselves, and always end up in a tie. It's extremely embarrassing when your two CHILDHOOD FRIENDS fight each other on a daily basis and always make a fool of themselves. Each and every time they fought they would come come with bruises, scrapes, scratches, and even maybe a few broken bones. AS they both grew Older, their injures each time they fought became more and more severe. Uncle Alicia would always heal them in an instant, when they had even a single cut to a lot broken bones. Thank goodness we have magic in this world or those two would have been dead the time they started fighting.

Those two have been rivals for whatever they do like ,races,tests, and even eating food. They always came out in the top and Aster was number one in swordsmanship and William was first in magic. The only difference you'll spot in them is their personalities and appearance. William has sliver blade Ike hair and has always been wearing some suit like clothing and carrying around the gold brimmed red book. He is always confident in himself, can stay calm wherever he is and excel in anything related to magic. Aster on the other hand looks different he has a red messy,long hair and wears lightweight and easily moveable amor and sky black shirt and tight horse brown pants that stretch all the way down to his knees and worn out dark hazel brown boots. He always carries his scabbard and sword around with him and has a big temper and is always being reckless in fights, challenges and competitions whether he knows he's going to lose or not. But Aster has some good points too! He determined and has a lot of stamina and is hardworking.

     All people that I are friends with are from renowned families, like Aster, William, and Iza. Aster is the heir and oldest son of the standsfort lineage, also known as the family that has been the head knight of the kingdom for over 100 generations. William is the only Heir to the Alicia lineage, The Alicia's are often known as the wizards and sages that lead our wars to victory with their close to legendary magic spells, also one of their ancestors Are Will Alicia who was the 2cd king to sit at the throne.William was also named after him. Finally, Iza is one of my cousins and my best friend since I met her, we've been through a lot and she taught me some pretty awesome stuff.

School courtyard 12 : 32

     It was the middle of the intense battle of the daily event, Aster was using his shadow steps that his father taught his just yesterday and was using this opportunity to practice. Neon bright circles that over crossed each other with letter chants appeared, one after another."Spirt of fire, I command you! Turn these balls of mana into flames! Frie shciorhign!"William chanted, in order to defend against Aster's shadow steps used "Blue Flame" which uses up an incredible amount of mana, which allows the user to turn their mana into scorching hot blue fames that is controlled by the user's will. In this solution William used "Blue Flame" to imitate a meteor shower, turning the blue balls of flame into humongous blue blazing meteor balls raining down.

Aster, who was prepared for William to use this type of technique swapped footing into an evolved version of "The Basics" it allows the user to dodge or block  any attack as long as it is within the vision of the user. William who always had a calm look on his face, now had eyebrows similar to a unibrow. Aster was easily gliding through the opening of William's " Flaming meteor shower" was getting closer and closer to him. A Wizard's main weakness is the physical combat and specialize in far distance spells, which means their strong point is how far you are from them. But, Wizards have evolved and developed spells and enchants for shields and physical combat support. Just then as Aster was about to swing his sword for William's openings because of the close proximity.

     William's eyes darted around the school courtyard, and started muttering chants,"Shield!" It was simple and short. A Bright yellow circular flat shield appeared the color was almost transparent. William quickly directed the shield to where he predicted Aster would attack, and indeed his predictions were always correct. The transparent yellow piece of protection shattered into millions of pieces giving both rivals glass cuts. William, in a hurry to erase the pain, quickly used another healing spell and Aster stood up painfully with his legs that had deep humongous glass cuts in them.

School cafeteria 12 :40

     " Holy Jesus! They're burning part of the School!" Iza announced while panicking .
" don't worry, the school will auto build itself if its damaged just like any other day their fighting." I Reassured her.
"No, no its not the kind of child isn't flame its a crimson flame summed from a 3rd grade flame spirit!'iza shouted. She looked like she was having a heart attack. I peeked trough the window to see that gigantic blue fire balls rained outside and Aster was using some kind of advanced footing to dodge it. Then I realized that the fire spread like a forest fire. Part of the trainings rooms were half burned and you could see the inside just a bit with practice dolls and protection armor. I was too focused on the fire who almost finished burning, a whole room that I didn't notice the intense battle.
"The spell was broken!" Someone shouted.

In a rush of panic, due to the mood in the room. I stood up and rushed to the window. Aster's legs were full of cuts and bruises, his leggings were mostly gone, William had scraps and little cuts all over his body which ruined his clothing badly. They both looked extremely worn out.

School Courtyard 1:00

They kept fighting, Aster kept jumping in and swinging his sword and William kept dodging and chanting spells. They kept on fighting until they ran out of strength. Aster's was extremely tired, he could barely move a finger he collapsed on to the floor , his whole body gone numb in a second. William exhausted his mana he barely had any left, he had to save some into order to not faint. He too collapsed on to the floor, They both lay on the cold hard floor not moving a single inch. Just laying there......
