Chapter 6 : Nightmare

"I love you," she mouthed.
Then, without me realizing, I was covered with a warm red liquid.
I stood there paralyzed by shock, "I love you too," I answered back with hot tears dripping down my face, looking at the thick  blood that covered my hands. I sobbed quietly while kneeling there, feeling hopeless along with the horrifying scream that was uttered from my mouth.

The Kingdom Hospital 9:45

I woke up to the sound of giggling. It was similar to a sound of a child but somewhat rough at the same time. Glad, that I finally woke up from that nightmare, I open my eyes. There stood the face of familiar face. With manly features stood the face of Aster one inch apart from mine.
Glaring,"Why do you have to do this daily?"
Grinning, " Well I'm always amazed daily how different your face is when you're sleep and awake,"
"And the difference is-?"
"Well, when you're awake Godzilla is summoned and when you're sleeping you look like an angel,"
I stood up quickly to smack him, or at least scratch him but sadly, miss. Aster was highly trained in combat and I'm only at most a quarter of his level. But despite that I try hard to hit him daily when he does things like this. He knew this very very well, and smirked every time I missed. Which is one of the reasons he's annoying, especially when he's teasing me.
"*sigh* weren't you suppose to be recovering since you're injuries were severe this time?"
"Who do you think I am? I'm not a commoner, I'm suppose to be a soldier!"
"Then Williams suppose to be studying spells right now?"
"I dunno, may he's still recovering from my godly swordsmanship!"
"Rightttt," I sarcastically agreed.
Then I went to look for William while reminiscing about the time that Aster used to be cute and follow me everywhere. After a while of looking in this humongous castle, the next stop was the library which was the most likely place William was to be. The reason why I didn't go there first when I stared to look for him was because I like to do things in order.

Kingdom Library 10:15

Then I found him, sitting down, reading at a intermediate spell book with his right arm supporting his crooked head, and his pure blond hair supported by sunlight. He looked a prince from a fantasy castle, but sadly my brother wasn't anything like that.
Ding Ding Ding
It was time for breakfast, hurriedly I tried to get to the royal meal table. I passed by the long hallways and big doors and the training area where Asta was busy attacking a straw doll with a wooden sword and a piece of bread in his mouth. I could tell he was working hard like William since he was training daily but William has it easier since he has directions in spell books.

Royal Meal Room 10:23

I greeted the guards and entered the meal room. The King and queen was chatting and had a couple aura around them. However, there was one person missing. I sat down in my designated seat, so hungry I could eat a horse. The breakfast was simple, bread, hard-boiled eggs, and an apple.
"Where's Conner?" I asked curiously while I was stuffing food in my mouth, with manners, of course.
"He's visiting his fiancée and staying there for breakfast," Mom answered.
Usually, at breakfast I'd chat with Conner just to not feel awkward at breakfast not talking. Mom and dad were talking when they came to an important topic that I'd rather avoid.
"Gia is getting older, now you mention it, isn't it about time she has a fiancé?" Mom devilishly suggested.
I froze, in my head, I'd rather pick my partner, like my old life. Thinking of all the candidates made me feel like throwing up.
"How about that -"
I quickly finish my food, and rush out the room, not wanting to hear that conversation.

Larkvard Academy 11:00
The depressing part of this world is education, school starts at 11 (normally) and ends at 6. Plus,  no breaks or weekends, unless it  was a special holiday like when the country of Larkvard was established.
" Listen! Starting today you all will be split into classes! SS, S, A, B, C, D, E, F. SS being the highest and F being the lowest,"
My head bobbed up, surprised I missed such an important day as this.
"You'll be tested on your mana level, spell memorization, level spell casting, physical combat, and intelligence. Your score would be the average of all these tests which will decide which class you would be send to." the teacher explained while pointing to a chart.
Stressed, I messed with my hair,"I didn't study at all! I would be a failure to the royal family!"
Ever since I got reincarnated into this world I would have the best scores but I'm not confident about this test, especially physical combat.
"Gia Lorilei Larkvard, room 7265"
I jumped out of my and turtle-walked to the test room, reviewing everything I remember in my head.
How the testing works (I heard from my brother) is that you'll be assigned your own room and your own test conductor.
Finally I reached the room, "open ," the door became almost transparent, and disappeared like it wasn't ever there.
"Please relax and do your best on the test!" the test conductor said.
"The test shall now begin!"
"Sit criss-cross against the wall and please meditate,"
I did as commanded and relaxed, pushing everything out of my mind,relaxing, trying to fade away.
Then, something tapped my shoulder a light one, almost like a butterfly landed on it.
"Are you awake?" Said a mysterious voice, childish but somewhat familiar?
