The Escape
Bucky slid his hand through the bars and felt the cold, metal of the lock. Simple key was all that he needed. He turned around and faced the cement wall. He sat down on the cot in the corner. Everyone else was packed into small cells, Bucky didn't know which was worse; solitarity or not being able to move.
"Are you excited?" A man walking by called. "To see your poor wife and child." Bucky didn't dare lift his face. "Won't you be happy to see they're safe?"
"I may never get to meet my child, or see my wife again, but as long as they are not here. I know they're safe." Bucky had to hold back tears, "You'll never understand what that's like."
The man smirked and walked on until he reached his destination. He knocked on the door. "Come in..." a cold voice replied. The man stepped in and closed the door. "Arnom Zola, what a pleasure. Have you gotten anywhere with the prisoner?"
"I'm afraid not yet. He won't talk until we get the girl and the child. He is firm in his belief that she will not come. Sir, I feel we should find another approach."
"You must make it quick. There are only days until the child is born and if this happens, I'm afraid we will be after two people. I only want one delivered."
"Yes sir."

Bucky looked at the lock again tracing his fingers along his identification tag. "Steve, you better get here soon." He whispered to himself.
"Is now good?" Steve swung the gate open. He smirked and put his hand out, "You have some people waiting for you at camp." Bucky smiled and took Steve's help getting up. He glanced left and right and followed Steve's lead.
"Aren't we after the rest too?"
"They are already out. We've been trying to find you." He nodded and slid into a series of doors that seemed to be a maze to Bucky. Steve opened a final door and the bright moonlight pierced through the dark and musky night. They stepped out and a bullet whizzed past Steve's face.
"Captian! We need backup!" a man shouted. Steve glanced at Bucky.
"Take the rest of the men. Don't stay here. Take the men and get out of here."
"Steve, I'm not going without you. I'm staying to fight."
"Leave! That's an order." Bucky's face tightened, "Don't do anything stupid while I'm gone, buddy." Steve let out a single laugh, turned around and started running.
"Alright! You heard him. Follow me until we get back to camp!" Bucky spun himself around and started to march his way through enemy fire. He hadn't a drop of fear because he knew Adeline and his child were safe.
