"A painting is, in a way, a mirror of the one who painted it: imperfect, unique and a work of art."
This applies to not only visual artists like painters, drawers, etc., but also anyone who creates anything, like authors, chefs, composers, ANYONE.
I wrote this especially for a childhood friend. She didn't think that her painting was good. She said she kept messing up and that she could never become an artist. Even if the end product is nothing like you had in mind or planned it to be, it is still beautiful. You created it with the intention of making art, so it is. By the way, I don't even know how she could of said that about the painting because it looked really cool even though it didn't look like what she wanted it to be.
