Not So Cliche

wide awake..but cant get up

we went home got cleaned up and everything and then i drove to the hospital ..

" hey mrs. pace .. i got your text .. what happened?" i asked mike's mother

"mike.." she said

'' what happened to him mrs . pace .? tell me!!" i said now nervous..

" he's awake.." she said tears flowing out of her eyes.. of course tears of happiness..

i gave her a tight hug..

" ooh and kody.. congo for that battle you won.." she siad patting my back..

" thanks ... mind if i go and meet him ?" i asked as i smiled

" you actually waiting for my answer?" she asked as she pushed me in his room ..

he was awake..

i was happy ..

" hey koko bear!" he said opening his arms ..

i began to cry .. i went to him and hugged him .. tight..

" dont cry now .. ive seen enough of tears today .." he said as we both chuckled..

" mike .thank the freaking stars youre awake!!!. i want to yell at you .. why did you do take the freaking shot? look what have you done!! you missed my battle.. i won you idiot.. along with austin of course.." i said as i smacked him

" yes i am wide awake .. "

" seriously ? katy perry?"

he chuckled .."i got the news..congo for that ... i am so damn proud of you right now... there's no party?" he asked

" there is .. i ditched .. the entire party .."

" why?"

" so i can tell you how much of an idiot you are and how much i missed you jerk!" i said as i gave him another hug..

" you didnt know that i was awake.. untill now.."

" yeah .. i kind of came here daily and spoke to you .. i didnt know that you couldnt hear me .. meaning .- i just didnt feel like going.. you were my date to the first party of the year right?"

" the night was hialrious..." he said

" i know it was.. guys will be so happy to know that you wil be joining school soon!!" i said

" umm - uuh .. yea" he said

" what's wrong mike?"

" nothing.. " he said and looked away..

" tell me!!" i said

" there's nothing to tell kody " he snapped..

i glared at him ..

and he yet didnt tell me..

" i need to rest... please now dont bug me koko bear." he said and dozzed off..

i was pissed but he just woke up .. it might be because of something ..

anyways ..i stayed for a while and then took off ..

i was at the party...

the music was blasting in my ears..

" hey kody .. where were you .. i went to your house but.." i cut austin of

" mike is awake.."i said

" he's what? are you serious? you went there to meet him?did mrs. pace tell you to come there? " he asked

" stop with all the questions.. yes i went there because mrs.pace called me .. ane yes for real he is awake ...he just fell asleep so i came here.. we need to tell others.." i said

we found them and they were drunk .. so we decided to tell them the next day..

we went home at about 1 am .. austin and liz and jim and clyton stayed over in my big bedroom ..

i was awake in the morning and..wait let me rephrase that..

i was the only one awake in the morning..

i went down and now .. i was THE only person awake in the entire house ..

i entered the kitchen to make breakfast after i had a hot bath ...

" ooh hey ko .. i made breakfast.. i hope you like bread and eggs .." said wade..

" good morning wade.i love it.. " i said after he gave me a hug..

" well now i think you should wake the house.. its 10 : 30 am .. " he said ..

" let them sleep.. they are lazy little pricks.. hey listen.. you know that mike pace who was in coma?" he nodded

" well he is awake now.. i went to meet him after the game .. and it was the best gift ..to seee him awake." i said

" glad to know.. maybe we can go visit him today.." he said and i nodded and ate the served food..

" you know .. you are quite a cook .. " i said

"thanks kiddo!" he said ruffling my hair..

" you know i am only a year younger than you .. and.. can i ask you something?" he nodded

" well when we were at the academy .. david kept asking about you to come there.. do you know anything about it? "i asked

" what?why? i dont know .."he said really confused

" i dont know.. leave it .. " i said and drank my juice..

" kody freaking taylor .. you didnt tell us that mike freaking pace is awake? we are going to meet him right now.." yelled liz as she came in the kitchen.. austin had probably told every one in the room and i had in the family ..

"liz calm down .. you were totally drunk last night.. that's why i didnt tell you .. its okay .. now we are going to meet him anyways .." i said and we left..
