* a few days later*

today was not a good day for me .. today was the day my mom .. nevermind...

it was soo boring .. in school ..today we didnt do anything and it was crap like always..i and austin got along really well but today moon was absent in all the classes .. i wonder why ..

i met zac on the way but he just shrugged the topic.. he was upset and didnt greet me as he always used to ..

what was this week ? alternate bad day mood swings week ?

austin's mother called me right after lunch when i was in class..

i couldnt pick up but as soon as class left i had practice..i went to my locker and called her back .

" hey eva ..what's wron-"

she cut me off by saying.."austin didnt come back home after he left in the morning and he isn't picking up.. i am really worried ... can you come here with zac right away ?"

he sounded really worried .." i'll be right there .. " saying this i hung up and saw the person i had to grab ..

" hey zac! im dropping you home today come with me ." i said grabbing him

"what's wrong kody?" he asked

" nothing ..your mom just caled me and toldme that austin did'nt come home after he left in the morning .. she was really worried.. do you know anything related to all of this .. you dont seem like always either ..."

i said as i drove .. he was silent .. he didnt say anything.

" zac i am expecting an answer now.." i said as i was really getting impatient ..

"its not my story to tell you kody .." he said ..

i didnt reply .. we reached his place and we made our way inside..

" what is it eva?" i asked

"you are the closest person to austin .. do you have any idea where he might be? "

"i am? .. i mean .. yeah .. i am but i dont-.. wait.. i think i might know one place where he might be.. you guys please calm down i know where he might be" i said as i got ready to leave the house ..

" wait i am coming with you .." said zac..

" no ..you stay here...i dont think he wil like if you came along .. " saying this i got in my car and left ..it was the place he had taken me thatday.. the secret place he didnt want to show anyone ..

i tried his number but it was unreachable.. god this guy!!

i reached the place and didnt see him ..

i gto down and tried to remember where we sat that day ...

i wandered and then finally say a figure sitting on the edge ..i walked upto it and found out that it was him .. i went there and sat next to him ..

his head snapped towards me and i gasped...

his face was all red ..his eyes were also totally red .. it was like he was a vampire and his eyes sucked the blood instead of his mouth ..

"go away muffin." he said as his voice cracked and i knew that he was about to break down and cry ..

i placed my hand on his shoulder and he instantly hugged me .. i wrapped my arms around him and he burried his face in my hair... he cried silently ..

he pulled away after a few minutes..

" sorry about your shirt..i'll- " i cut him off by saying .." nah- i dont like this shirt anyways .. " i tried to create a litttle humour .. but it didnt work ..

" listen austin .. would you mind telling me why you are here? or .. its okay if you dont..just do whatever helps you right now.."i said in a calm voice..

" when i was 11 years old .. me my mom and ..." he trailed off..a few tears escape his eyes..i just wanted to give him a comforting hug but he continued .." a- and arlett..(he sighed_) were going home late at night when some people followed us and tried to shoot us.."

i stared at him in shock .i thought i knew what happened next..

"when we were in the middle of nowhere .. some men grabbed us .. they tried to shoot mom but she kept dogging it .. then i got all violent and jabbed one person .. the other man wih the gun pointed it at me and shot.. but my si- sister took that shot for me .." i gasped and was still in shock ..sister? arlett? ..i remember that name somehow,..

"before we could do anything else .. the men ran away as we heard the police approach .. they grabbed arlett with them and vanished .. the cops chased them but they got away ... we filed the report about the men and shooting my sister .. but till now there was no luck ..

it was this day kaody.. this very day that incident took place .. she took the shot for me kody and i couldnt save her .. it was my fault this haas happened to her .." he said as i gave him a hug.. i started to cry myself... he pulled back again and asked me

" why are you crying ? " i looked at him and then said .." those men took my mother ..." as these words got out of my mouth .. he stared at me in horror ..

" even i was 11 when it happened and we ..mum i and kaiden were going home when they started chasing us and shot mom in the hand and then grabbed us as well but then after we both fought ...and also got beten up . .they left us there lying on the ground.. and took her away.."

we shared the same story ..

"is that why you are so skilled in punchin?" he asked me

" after the incident .. kaiden and i both were guilty about waht had happened and so whenever he was furious he would go to the punching alley and practice punching...

i started to go there too.. then one day we were attacked again .. but that time we were big enough to handle ourselves so we defended ourselves and the cops arrived just in time.. but anyways .. those men ran away.."i said..

"but what is this deal..i cant underatand ... this is somehow linked dont you think?"i asked

after a moment he said ..

" my father has a major role in this .."
