Chapter 18

(Y/n)'s POV

~The next day~

I got out of my coffin and put on a mini skirt and an off shoulder shirt. I slipped on my ballet flats. I left my hair out and put on some make up. I went downstairs and into the garden. The smell outside was refreshingly sweet.

"Good morning, Saee."
"Aww, I wanted to scare you," she exclaimed with a pout. I just smiled.
"You guys are up early," said Sasha.
"We are?"
"Well, yeah. It's 4 in the morning," Rebecca answered sleepily.

They all went back in to sleep little more. I stayed out here to look at the sunrise. I took a picture of it and posted it on Instagram. The princes had followed me (you followed them back) and they had just about everyone following them. Roberto was the first to like my picture (I decided to add this because I felt like it). I went back inside.

"You guys are awake already?"
"Yeah, obviously. What did you think we were, couch potatoes?" Rebecca replied.
"Yeah," I answered casually.
"Hey!" Saee started chasing me around. A few minutes later, she calmed down.
"I'm going shopping today, anyone want to come?"
"Nah, we're good," Saee answered.

I went outside and decided to walk there. A few minutes later, I arrived at the mall. I walked around for a bit until I bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry, forgive me." It was a young girl, probably about a few years younger than me. I smiled.
"It's fine, you don't have to apologise. I was the one that wasn't looking."
"I'm Catherine and I think you've already met my brother, Keith," she said.
"I'm (Y/n). Wait, he's your brother?"
"Yes. Did you just say that you were (Y/n)?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Oh, Roberto sometimes comes over unexpectedly and sometimes all he talks about is this beautiful girl named (Y/n)."
"*blush* He said that about me?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Oh, it's nothing." (I don't actually know what Catherine's personality is like so please forgive me if she's different from what she's supposed to be).
"Do you want to come over for a bit?" she asked.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'm sure Keith won't mind." She got her phone out and called someone.
"Get me a private jet...yes, I'm sure...Bye."
"Come on, let's go," she exclaimed cheerfully. I smiled and followed her to the airport.

~At Liberty Kingdom~

"What are you doing here?" he asked, annoyed.
"I invited her over," Catherine answered for me. Keith's gaze immediately softened.
"Whatever." He walked off.
"Follow me," she said. I followed her to her room.
"I think Roberto might've developed feelings for you," Catherine stated.
"*blush* W-why would you say that?"
"Well, all he ever talks about is you and I just know these kind of things," she replied.
"I-is that so?"
"Yep and I bet you like him back." Do I? I've been wondering that for a while. She saw my confused look.
"Give it some time and the answer will come eventually," she said. I smiled. She was a very sweet girl.
"Who's there?" Catherine hid behind me. The door opened.
"I'm just here to kidnap the princess," the man answered.
"Why?"
"So that her loved ones will come and try to save her but we'll be there to kill them. Then we'll become the new rulers!" he exclaimed evilly.
"Don't come any closer." He just smiled and threw a dagger at my heart then ran past me, grabbed Catherine and jumped out the window.
"(Y/n)!" she screamed. I...need to...save...her.
"Hey Catherine, come do-" Keith stood there, shocked. I pulled the dagger out and covered up my wound temporarily.
"I'm...sorry...I didn't...stop him." I managed to stand up and jumped out the window.
"(Y/n), wait!" Keith called out but it was too late. I already left.

I followed Catherine's scent and arrived at an abandoned warehouse. I went inside and ripped the ropes that bound her.

"Get out of here...now!"
"B-but..."
"Don't worry about me, just go." I managed a smile.
"Keith won't let me hear the end of how I didn't save you...go now, they're coming."

She was hesitant but ran off. I shot ice at the kidnappers, killing them while doing so. That was...easy. I collapsed and blacked out.

~Back at the kingdom~

I woke up. "(Y/n), are you alright?" Catherine asked worriedly.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Wait what?
"Who gave me their blood?"
"Keith did. Roberto came over and wanted to do it but he already gave you lots so Keith did it," she replied.
"Oh, I'm sorry."
"It's alright, he's strong."
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine, thanks to you." We both smiled.
