The Light

It was a cloudy morning, Blake hates mornings like this make him feel melancholy, especially now that he is unemployed. He decided to take the morning to visit Fox, after the whole mess with Bane and Batman's supposed death he had been confused, especially with the package that Bruce had left for him.

He took his old van and left. When he got there he knocked on the door and a few seconds later there was Fox with a big smile on his face inviting him to enter.

"So what brings you here, Blake?" he asked with some curiosity as sat on the sofa.

"I do not know ... I mean I'm confused Bruce he ..."

"I already know"

"what do you think he meant? He wants me to replace it? ... I mean that's what it seems"

"I do not think he wants you to replace it"

"I do not understand ..." He hides his face in his hands and breathe deeply.

"want coffee?" Fox stops while going into the kitchen.

Blake nods his head. After a few minutes, Fox returns the room with two cups of coffee, it delivers a Blake and sits down again.

"thank you" Blake says as he stares at his hands that held the glass.

"nothing ... So what you said before I stop?"

"I dunno"

"Look ... I do not think he wants you to be Batman, I think he wants you to be you."

"He wants me to turn into a super hero as he was? Thats a lot of responsibility"

"You're right, so you have to think twice before entering this world ... Bruce himself proved that you only get out of the 'super hero world' when dies"

Blake sighs

"whatever your choice, let me know" Fox takes the cup of coffee from the hands of Blake "would love to talk but I get an appointment, and you're not even taking your cafe anyway ..." he smiles

"okay" Blake smiled back "Thanks Fox"

While returning home Blake thought in the words of Fox, is really that what I want to my life?
