Chapter eight
Jade's pov

"Leo?" I mumbled opening my eyes. "I'm right here." He replied rubbing my thigh. "Where are we?" I asked looking around and trying to stretch. "We're just stopping for a break, do you want anything to eat or drink?" He asked lifting me from my seat and onto his lap. I crossed my arms and pouted. "I'd like fooooooooood!" I shouted. "Come on then!" He said opening the door and letting me climb out. "I remember this place." I stated once we'd walked through the door. "You do?" Leo asked surprised. I nodded in response. He took me over to one of the booths and we sat down opposite each other. "Hello, what can I get for you today?" A waitress asked, the same waitress as last time. Well isn't she just amazing. "We'd like two specials please." Leondre answered whilst she practically eye raped him. Once she'd wrote it down she left but not before whispering something in Leondre's ear causing him to smirk. "What did she say?" I asked, my wolf so close to the surface. "Nothing." He replied brushing me off. "It didn't look like nothing!" I said crossing my arms. "It's none of your business so shut up!" He demanded not even looking at me.

K= He doesn't want us, does he?

J= I don't think he does.

K= He's gonna take us to a hotel and once we're asleep he's going to run back to her and leave us.

J= He wouldn't do that!

K= He will!

"I'm just gonna go to the bathroom, I'll be right back." I said getting up from the table. He didn't even notice. Once I'd entered the bathroom I made sure no one else was in there before my fist connect with one of the mirrors. I knew that this was going to happen. As soon as another girl came along he would completely forget about me. What I didn't know was that it would hurt this much. My own mate was too distracted thinking about another girl to notice that I was even there. I mean I knew this day would come because I'm not the prettiest girl out there; my brown hair wasn't anything special and it only went a bit past my shoulders, my once bright blue eyes are now a dull bluey-grey, I'm not the skinniest of girls seeing as my thighs touch, you can't see my bones like the waitresses but I've always love myself and the way I look. I guess I'm just not good enough for him. He'd rather be with someone else, someone who is good enough for him. Someone who just isn't me.

"You've been awfully quiet lately, what's wrong?" Leondre asked me. We left the diner three hours ago, the whole time we were there he kept looking at the waitress and not even bothering to, so much as to glance at me or make any type of conversation. All in all it was down right awful. "I'm fine." I snapped looking out of the window. "No you not!" He replied resting a hand on my shoulder and rubbing small circles. "Like you would care!" I huffed removing his hand of off my shoulder. "Your my mate of course I would care!" He shouted parking the car at the side of the road. "Oh so now your my mate? What about back in the diner with that waitress huh? You didn't seem to care about me then, did you?" I shouted getting out of the car. "You thought that I liked the waitress?" He asked shocked. I nodded watching as he smirked. "She's my cousins mate and she was telling me that I was lucky to finally have you." He replied trying to hug me. It didn't really work seeing as I was wriggling and trying to get out of his grip the whole time but it did calm me down. I groaned and hid my face in his chest. "Jade baby, what happened to your hand?" Leo asked taking ahold of my hand and rubbing his thumb on top of my bloody knuckle. "I kinda maybe punched a mirror in the bathrooms." I replied trying not to laugh at his face. "I don't even want to know!" He mumbled kissing my bloody knuckle. Wrapping both my arms around his neck I stood on my tip-toes and kissed his awaiting lips.

"We're here." Leo mumbled looking up at the massive castle. "It's huge." I mumbled shocked. "Baby you've not even seen it yet." He smirked winking at me. "Your disgusting!" I shouted blushing. "Baby I'm all yours." He replied kissing me hand. "Whatever." I mumbled whilst he drove us up to the entrance. Once we were inside I couldn't help but begin to shake, Leo must have noticed this as he got out of the car and walked round to my side before opening my door and hugging me. "It's gonna be okay." He whispered rubbing my back whilst I wrapped my arms around his neck like I was clinging on for dear life. Leo continued to whisper sweet nothings into my ear, telling me how lucky he was and that I was beautiful, which helped calm me down. "Leo." I whispered more relaxed now. "Yes love?" He asked pulling away slightly so that our foreheads were still touching. "Thank you." I replied giving him a quick peck on the lips. "It's okay my love." He whispered licking my cheek. "Ewwww Leo, just 'cos your a dog doesn't mean you have to act like one." I moaned pushing him away whilst climbing out of the car. "You love me really." He smirked getting our bags out of the car. "That I do!" I laughed grabbing one of my bags. "I can do it." He assured me trying to take the bag of off me. "Let me have just one?" I pleaded hating that he would have to carry 6 bags not including the one that I have. "Fine." He huffed. Closing and locking the car.
