CHAPTER 1

As I got off the plane the soaring heat of Australia hit me, it was going to take a while to acclimatise. Id been saving up for this since I was 16, at 24 I'd finally got there I had enough after working several jobs to finally move to Australia. I haven't always wanted to live here, it'd began after I watched a show called bondi rescue and fell in love the place. (And the lifeguards of course).

Waiting for my suitcase to come around the conveyer belt I got chatting to a young lad who had done the same as I had, we got chatting and turned out we were neighbours . He grabbed his case off the belt and headed to the door 'cya!' He shouted I smiled and carried on waiting, after 10 minutes there was still no sign of it. Then as panic began to set, a pair of rather grannyish pants came through, the type of underwear which you wouldn't show your closest friend. As I watched in horror as the remaining contents of my case came round the conveyer belt I grabbed as much as I could, underwear, shorts, tops, shoes... then came my blue flowery case wide open with bras and more pants (bit more fancy) flopping over the side, by now I'd blushed and hoping to god no one could see, I was in an airport obviously people were watching but I just wished the ground would eat me up. As I dragged my broken case from the belt a smart black case came through shortly followed by a very large bag in the shape of a surfboard. A male hand grabbed at the two and took them off, then a very Aussie sounding voice came from this man, 'you okay?' As I turned round I was greeted by a very tanned man with the most amazing blue eyes and a smile which made my belly feel like it was doing somersaults. After a moment of staring I realised he did actually ask me a question 'erm yeah yeah I'm fine just this stupid case which has decided to break on me' I smiled whilst looking down at my feet,he chuckled 'can I help?' He said trying to make eye contact as I met his eyes my stomach did it again what was wrong with me? I didn't even know this bloke and I was getting all hot and flustered just looking at him, but he looked very familiar which was impossible we lived on opposite sides of the world. 'No no, all good now just got to put everything back in my case' i paused 'what's left of my case and then I'm off' ' 'where you off too?' He asked still smiling by now I was blushing...and badly, 'I just bought an apartment in Bondi' I exclaimed he smiled, this time it was even more welcoming 'I live near there' he beamed 'well that's great! Maybe we should meet up?' What was I doing I met this stranger who looked so familiar and I was asking him out!? 'Sure that'd be great' he smiled and wrote his number on a piece of scrap paper. I took it smiled and began to walk off with my open suitcase when I heard him shouting'hey miss!!' 'My names Charlie' I shouted back 'well Charlie I think you've forgotten something' as I turned round to my horror he was holding up my granny pants. 'They're not mine!' I lied, my face must've given it away 'well' he said holding them up, 'they have your name in them' *facepalm* I snatched them off him and tucked them in my pocket, 'they're not my usual!' I tried to exclaim but he was in fits of laughter 'yeah okay' he teased 'I can prove it!!!' 'No no nooo we don't want you stripping off in the middle of an airport' he chuckled which made me laugh, he had the cutest laugh.

As we continued walking we got chatting about a range of things, music being the main topic, he told me about someone called kidmac and that I 'HAD to check him out'. As I arrived at my taxi and got a strange look at the driver about my case we parted our ways 'see you around' he smiled one last time and he drove off in his car, a posh car big enough for surfboards but not overly big, silver in colour very fancy. I waved and got in the taxi he took me to my new apartment where I would spend the rest of my life.
