Chapter 12:
*Mitch's P.O.V.*
I watched Midnight who was pacing back and forth after 10 minutes. He was whimpering, head hung low, and tail down, almost between his legs. I narrow my eyes on him, wondering why he was acting so strange. I stood up and walked over to him. Petting his head, I made him sit down. Even when he sat he still was taller than me. Well he was technically an immortal wolf, meaning his size would be as tall as a werewolf.
"hey everything's gonna be alright boy" I said gently a I petter his head softly.
Midnight looked at me, his red yes turning blue. He whimpered one more time then lied down beside me, his head lying on my lap.
I couldn't help but to feel worried about Megan. What if something happened to her and I didn't know it? Oh well I shouldn't be worrying myself, Megan knows what she is doing anyhow. I smiled and looked down at Midnight. He looked soo peaceful, just laying there his eyes closed an head on my lap. Midnight was a very loyal wolf, also very protective as well. Haha how wouldn't he be like that, he was trained by the best, as in Megan.
I jumped, as i heard someone pull into the driveway and slam a car door shut. Midnight jumped awake, lifting his head up. Next thing I knew, I found Midnight run up to the door. He was clawing at it fiercely, growling really deep, and barking like a mad wolf. I stiffen up, spreading my senses and my guard up.
I stood up and was about to head to the door when someone slammed it open. Knocking Midnight to the side about 10 ft into the kitchen followed by a loud as hell yelp. I ran toward the door then stopped immediately. I was about to hurt the person who hurt Midnight when I saw Justin and Dony come through the door.
"phew it's just you guys" I said relieved. My heart was slowly down, showing I was calming down.
"of course it's us, we own the damn house. Who else would we be? Santa clause and the Easter bunny?" Justin growled at me full with anger. Hmm someone is in the bad mood.
Justin walked in followed by Dony. Justin looked over in the kitchen seeing Midnight stand up and growl at him, showing his razor sharp teeth.
Rolling his eyes Justin slammed the door shut then crossed his arms over his chest.
"I'm guessing Megan is here also?" Justin asked with a small smirk on his face.
A growl was stuck in my throat, I knew exactly what he was thinking, and I didnt like it one bit. "yes, and she won't be happy when she knows you harmed Midnight" I said with a growl, venom spitting out with every word I said.
Justin shrugged and smirked at me. "she wouldn't care, because she wouldn't know. Plus Midnight was in my way of getting into my house" Justin said in his normal jackass attitude. With that he went to the fridge, and grabbed a beer out of it. Justin slammed the door shut then opened the beer and started to ale small swigs of it.
Dony looked at me as if saying sorry about my brother. Then he walked past me going into the living room and sat down. Dony was very tense, and he flinched in pain when he say down.
Midnight growled at Justin in warning then walked past me and wen to Dony, giving him attention.
"you know pretty boy, there is other more entertaining things to do than state at me" Justin said with a smirk and took another sip of his beer.
"says the person who fucks every girl that walks, then gets drunk a hell and beats his own brother up" I growl at him, and shook my head with disgust and I went to go to the kitchen.
Well was going to until Justin grabbed a hold of my arm, making me turn around. I was about going to kick him right in the balls, when he punched my right into the face. I stumbled back, and then looked at Justin, rage filling in me. "number one big mistake" I growl at him.
