Day's P.O.V.
"Hey Night! I know you're in bed. COME DOWNSTAIRS THIS MOMENT OR YOU WON'T HAVE BREAKFAST!" I shouted.
"ARGH!" Came from the bedroom. A moment later, there was a few crashes, which I guess is Night tripping from the mess, a few profanities shouted, and a few cat shrieks. After a few seconds, a monster tumbled into the kitchen. A monster with hair sticking upwards and sloppy pajamas. A monster who had morning breath and it stinked.
"Tough night?" I asked knowing a couple of days had Night waking up like Frankenstein.
"Really? Do you even have to ask?" She replied knowing that I knew what happened.
"How come you keep having the same nightmares everynight since our birthday?" I questioned. Everynight, she had the same nightmare. It was me and her going siren hunting. Apperantly tons of them came, grabbed me, and drowned me in the deep waters. Night somehow swan to me and when she was deep enough in the water, she was choking and trying to get air. Though she could have went back to the surface, she kept trying to get me, and a tail appeared. She had sharper features and a necklace we have never seen. When she opened her mouth and was waiting for death to approach her, she could breath underwater.
"Hey, I don't know!" She told me with a mouth full of cereal and milk coming out of her mouth.
"Well alright then, no need to eat so fast. I woke you up with an hour and a half left for school... And EAT WITH YOUR MOUTH CLOSED!" I shouted seeing that cereal crumbs were falling out of Night's mouth. This is her way of eating and if you say anything-
"HEY, this is my way of eating, and if you say anything, Day, I swear, tonight, there won't be just sirens dead." Night threatened. I told you.
"Ok, alright I'll stop, but tonight, we're going to have some fun and you will get a better sleep after this, I promise." I told her, knowing that just by telling her this, kept her mind off of her nightmare. Oh boy, was I wrong!
