I got to the barn at 7:00 AM with Emma and Katie. "It feels like it's been a year since we got the horses." I muttered. "I wonder why the owner left them there all alone." Emma asked. "Maybe we should go back to the area and look around, you know the place we found them?" Katie clued in. "For once that's a great idea!" I answered.
We walked into the stalls and fastly groomed and tacked our horses and mounted as fast as we could. "We need to be home before lunch so let's make this fast." Emma added

We picked up a solid trot and followed a trail we have once been on before. "Is anyone else nervous?" I asked. "I think we all are" Alex replied. "To see the place we found these horses." We trotted on until we reached a beautiful forest with bright green grass. "There it is." I said in a clam voice pointing. We dismounted and let the horses eat some grass. "It's just as I remembered" Katie muttered. "The horses seem to remember this place." Alex said. They continued to eat the green grass as we talked.

I felt a warm tear roll down my face. It was all happy, I loved these horses so much. And I can't believe this is the place where it all started. "Where would we be without them?" Emma asked. "I can't even think about it" I replied.
