Chapter 13 hide and seak

POV Alex

It was 7:00 am. I was already awake. Me Katie and Emma slept in the spare room in the barn tonight. I had my day planned out, me and Torri would go for a 8:00 am trail ride and later me and my friends were gonna go see a horse movie. I got dressed in peach coloured breaches and a lime green shirt and threw my hair up in a messy bun. I walked by passing all the horses stalls till I reached Torri's. I stood in front of it. "Where's Torri!" Her stall was wide open but no one was inside. I ran outside to the paddock to see if Megan had put her out, but she did not. I ran back into the small room and yelled. "Torri is missing!" I started crying. I was not going to loose this horse. Emma and Katie flew up out of bed looking tired. "What?" Said Katie. "It's okay clam down Alex let's go talk to Megan." They got dressed. Katie took 20 minutes to fix her hair and kept me and Emma waiting. We flew over to the small house by the barn and knocked. Megan answered. "Hey girls, did we have a early lesson or something?" She said. "Do you know where Torri is!" I blurted out. "She should be in her stall?" Megan answered. I started to run away before they could even say anything else. I ran into the barn and looked in her stall for clues. Emma and Katie ran after me. "Let's get mocha and Precious tacked up and go look for Torri, maybe her lock on her door got loose, we'll find her!" Said Katie. "I don't have anyone to ride." I said. "I'll go bareback and me and you can sit on Mocha together." Emma smiled.

We were all ready and already grade out in the woods by 8:00. "I texted Sydney, she's coming out here to help us look" said Katie. Five minutes later Sydney was by our side helping us look for Torri. 30 minutes went by and no luck. "Where could she have gone!" I yelled. And looked over to the side and there she was, standing there eating fresh grass, I dismounted Mocha and ran to give Torri a hug.

POV Emma-
We brought Torri back to the barn and got our horses put away in there stalls, Sydney came back with us and put her horse in the guest stall. We cleaned there stalls, gave them fresh hay and water. Then walked outside. We started talking about how crazy today was laughing about how Torri of course was the one to escape.
