""Not an Actual Speech or Thought""

Peter stared at him, as Derek writhed on the ground, his eyes flashing between Fluorescent blue to a strange Alizarin crimson.

"Did he just say Alpha?" he asked Cora who was now physically restraining a hysterical Leah who was pointing rather comically at where Derek had all but shifted from human-shaped-shape shifter into an all-out actual wolf, of the Therianthrope variety.

"Before that..." Leah yelled, "What on Earth is going on?!!!!" she asked bawling hysterically.

Peter sighed utterly done with the girl, "I thought I made it perfectly clear, we're werewolves. You know mythical supernatural creatures that transform into wolves with the pull of the moon", he deadpanned.

Leah raised her brow, and with one hand on her hip, she stared at him dryly, "Oh sure, yes that part made perfect sense, what with the features shifting, the fangs dropping, the eyes changing colors", she listed, and then she waved a hand gallantly, "I agree it made sense, well with evidence anyway. But nowhere in that previous explanation anyone mentioned actual Animagus transformations!!!" she hissed aggrieved.

Peter paused, "Well it's not impossible", he stated, "Although I agree this is unprecedented", he sighed.

Cora finally straightened, "Could it be because of the magical transference? The pressure might have been too much?" she asked, moving away from Leah and crouching down opposite Derek.

"I'm not sure, to be honest it could be that as a reason or well Derek's inherent control. The person, who gave him an Alpha spark magically, is also his anchor. I have no idea what's going on anymore, right now, I wish I could contact an old friend of mine, I don't even know where she's at, but it'd be a huge help", he sighed as his eyes stayed fixed on Derek who was a wolf.

"Who? Are they in the US?" Cora asked.

"In Mexico to be honest", he answered, "But the last time we talked was before the fire", he winced.

Cora scowled, and then relaxed in small doses.

Leah watched them, "Fire? What fire?" she asked tactlessly.

Peter looked away memories of the event too much a burden to express.

Cora sighed, "Oh you know, Hunters seducing young prepubescent werewolves, and tricking them into the house, so they can map the area, and close off all exits, before surrounding the house in a barrier of Mountain Ash ensuring we can't escape and setting the house on fire and killing about eleven people of our family. That fire. We don't like to talk about it", she summarized as succinctly as possible.

Leah blinked and then nodded quietly.

"So how do we look for this friend of yours?" Cora asked.

"I don't know, her name could have changed after marriage. The last time we met, she was prattling on and on about getting married to the love of her life, and then there was the part where the fire occurred", he sighed.

"Why not start with a name?" Leah offered as she took out her cellphone, "We can start with googling her name, even if it's downright impossible to reach out to all of the people with a similar name", she sighed.
