Stiles paused on the edge of the threshold, of the Irish Pub McIntyre; "Ah crap!" he cursed.
Thomas bumped into him, "What is it? What's wrong?" he asked worriedly.
Stiles paled, "I just realized I have no idea how to introduce you", he turned around, "Okay, here's the deal, no one aside from my dad knows I'm magic", he rolled his eyes, "And I have no doubts Alice will figure it out by the end of the week, but if we could refrain from mentioning it to her, that would be awesome", he prayed.
"Why not just tell her?" Thomas asked curiously.
"Because I'm protective of the people who are mine", he repeated, "Besides the reason I'm wary is she's already been approached by Fae", he hummed stepping into the pub, only to be yanked back, "What the—"
"The FAE!!!" Thomas yelled, and then he sagged against Stiles, "Mate, I'm sorry this has been fun, but I'm gonna just go..."
Stiles rolled his eyes, "Already balking? Didn't I warn you I do not have a peaceful life?" he muttered amused.
"No one mentioned anything about the freaking Fae?!!!" he yelped.
"Eh...they're not a threat", he hummed,
"The Fae are not a threat?!!! Are you mental??"
Stiles ignored him and continued, "Anyway just shut up and follow my lead okay?" he instructed.
Stiles had absolutely no idea, to what was guiding his movements, for all he knew, he was probably experiencing a latent Alpha ability, and given his experience with Alpha werewolves, this, overwhelming leadership thing, really will end badly!
"Wolfy!!!"
Stiles grinned at Alice who was waving from the bar and smiling sharply, the reason explained as soon as he took a step forward and the person in front of him moved;
"Alley cat?" he hissed irately at the sleazy looking man, hanging over her shoulder, striding over (he remained oblivious to the parting of the crowd as he walked over), "Heyy, sorry I'm late, I just finished getting some stuff", he slid onto the stool, and turned to the barkeep. The auburn haired slim fair beauty also looked decidedly uncomfortable.
"Hey", he smiled softly, "May I request an order for some Lemonade, for all three of us?" he indicated Thomas and Alice as he pulled Tom to sit beside him.
"Understood", she grinned at Thomas who winked.
"So who's your friend Alley?" he asked curiously.
Alice smirked, "This is Lancaster Price, he's a local", she grinned.
Stiles nodded, "Pleasure to make your acquaintance", he offered a nod, "So Lank, what's it you do?" he asked.
"Lancaster", the sleaze corrected voice oily and creeptastic. He made Gerard Argent sound warmer, slicking back his oily blonde hair, "I'm a Tourist Guide", he offered.
"Ah Lank", Stiles hummed ignoring the man's scowl, "So you show people around?" he asked, "Must be a fun job", he grinned, "Tell me Lank", he offered a wolfish grin, and leaned in dangerously, "You sound Scottish. Are you a Scotsmen?" he asked simply.
"Ah no, I was born in Edinburg but my mother was Venezuelan, I speak mostly Spanish, with a Scottish accent, it's strange I know", he smiled, his gold tooth glinting in the low light.
"That's even better, may I request something?" he asked.
Lancaster grinned, "Of course, I would only be so humble to oblige the brother of this beautiful woman", he slid a hand down Alice' shoulder who cringed.
