'Genos huh... I miss you my little chump, but looks like we started in a different path, and we shall end it differently.

Bitter or sweet, we shall accept what lies in front of us. As your old man, I need to protect you from harm, even though we are not in the same side. I wish you understand that, Genos.' I thought and wished that Genos heard that, even he has extra hearing, he will still not be able to hear that.

I got up from bed then tucked my fingers to my sheets. I'm such a wimp to stealthly escape from the hands of the rampaging cyborg... Ugh... That memory... I don't wanna remember it...

Flashback

"Genos! Let's go outside and play soccer, we have a nice weather, so let's take our chances!" I invited my small bro out to play my favorite sport. Soccer.

I am already holding the ball in advance so we can play immidiently.

"Okay, onni-chan!" He said in a adorable way. Such an adorable brother I have. Then I grinned with my eyes closed. I have a black hair and gold eyes. While he has dirty blond hair and gold eyes.

"Then catch up with me!!!" I said, yelling. I quickly ran to our backyard, where we have our own little field.

"But, onni-chan!!!" He said while catching his breath and run cutely and desperately, even he is a bit slow. *chuckles* I truly have an adorable brother.

Then when he was running, he accidentally tripped, good thing I caught him, since he was near me.

"Is my little bro alright?" I secured him and teased him. He pouted cutely. I just chuckled lightly.

"Stop that, onni-chan!"  He said in a cute way then pouted again.
I just rubbed his smooth and soft cheeks. Then I pinched his cheeks.
He gave an expression saying.
'Plz. Stahp.' Then I giggled.

Minutes Later

As we play and play, littte bro suddenly felt exhausted.

"Onni-chan, *pant* *pant* let's stop for now." He said while catching his breath.

"Yeah, I know." Even I, a 14 year old teen, is exhausted from playing sports. He is 13.

After we play, we suddenly heard an explosion. Our parents came rushing in the backyard.

"G-Geninos!" Mother yelled a bit away. I am confused and worried as well.

"Escape, FAST!" Dad suddenly handed me something I didn't know. The both of them are crying in fear.

Then lil' bro pulled the hem of my shirt.

"O-onni-chan, what's going on?" He whispered with a worryful face.

"Sons, please, RUN!" Dad pleaded. As soon as he said that, another explosion was heard, then a scream followed it.
