"Don't laugh! Oh god this is so embarrassing..." Connor said as he blushed heavily and covered his face. I moved his hands from his face and kissed his cheek.
"Trust me, getting caught singing is way more embarrassing than yelling out 'fight me ' as soon as I wake up. Plus it just means you're always on guard. Which is good news for me since I know you'll keep me safe." I smiled softly at him and cupped his cheek.
"Y-Yea,I guess you're right, heh." He smiled back and pecked my lips. I blushed and rested my forehead against his. The sound of someone whispering a small 'Aww ' brought us out of the moment and we instantly glared and the all mighty Ezio.
"Whoops, sorry I thought you wouldn't hear me." He chuckled nervously as he and the other boys went into another room. Connor got up while I still clung to him and we made our way into the bedroom and he laid me down gently as he whispered a quiet 'Good night' to me.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going to go with the rest of the guys," he said quietly. I did my best hurt look and slightly pouted at him.
"O-Oh, well okay. Good night...," I turned so my back faced him and pulled the cover up over my face.
"Trishka...I'll stay with you if you want," he paused as I slightly peeked my head out from the blanket, "just please don't be sad."
"Fine,"I replied as I scooted over and faced towards in. He slid onto the bed and laid my head on his chest and draped the blankets over him, "you better keep me warm." Immediately after I said that, he wrapped his arms around me and held me close. I blushed and smiled, intertwining my legs with his and placing my freehand to play with a few of his stray hairs. "I love you, Connor."
"I love you too, Trishka." He stroked my hair and kissed my head, knowing very well that he was relaxing me and making me feel loved and cared for. I hummed softly and whispered in his ear.
"Let's go on an adventure." You eyed me strangely, I chuckled and shot up out of the bed and quickly got dressed quickly before running out from the window into the cold rainy night. I heard Connor call after me and but I just ran off and didn't look back. I scaled many buildings and took in the view, making sure that Connor wouldn't catch up to quickly but unfortunately soon after thinking he wouldn't catch up- I lost my footing; Connor quickly jumped onto the rooftop of the building and pulled me up and held me close.
"You really need to be careful Trish, I don't care if you having fun or just on a mission. I just want you to be safe."
"I know I'm sorry," I kissed his cheek and smiled up at him. "Can we continue this adventure though?"
"Yes,just be let's just be careful. We don't know where the guards are."
"Well then let's just get down." With that I brought him to the edge and fell backwards into the haystack, he tried to regain his balance only to fail and fall into it as well, landing right on top of me but not crushing me. When I opened my eyes I seen that our faces were inches apart and a sheepish smile on his face. I blushed slightly and slipped out and ran off, leaving poor Connor to run after me. I stopped and looked back and waited for I'm and then pointed at a nearby bell tower; getting the hint he took hold of my hand and we to walk towards it and scaled it quickly. We sat down and looked at the rain; after failing to get comfortable I moved to sit on Connors lap and faced him.
He placed his hands on my waist and leaned his forehead against my own and held me close, rolling thunder and church bells could be heard off in the distance as I began to sing in a soft tone, much to Connors surprise.
"This world is gonna burn, burn, burn, burn; as long as we're going down," I paused for a moment to cup Connors cheek and kiss his forehead, "baby you should stick around, baby you should stick around. It's all gonna shift; it's out of our hands, baby if you could know you would hatch a plan. That's my, that's my man." I paused again to lightly poke Connors nose and giggle at his reaction. The thunder growing slightly closer now. "If we're gonna die, bury us alive. If they're searching for us, they'll find us side-by-side. That's my, that's my man." I kissed him, after I pulled away his expression didn't change. His face still had its stunned and surprised expression; I smiled and continued. "This world is gonna burn, burn, burn, burn. As long as we're going down...baby you should stick around...baby you should stick around..." he began to smiled and held me close and gave me a loving look. "The earth break, it falls and save your beat. I'd find myself swallowed, drowning in your heat...As long as we're going down...baby you should stick around, baby you should stick around. This world is gonna burn, burn, burn, burn. As long as we're going down...baby you should stick around...baby you should stick around." I repeated the whole lyric again and softly hummed the end of it.
"I don't get why you don't sing more often Trish, your voice is beautiful." Connor asked softly. The thunder now closer than ever and a flash of lightning hit a nearby bell tower, but we paid it no mind.
"I just get nervous when I do Connor, you know how scared I was to even sing to you just now. I was mortified." I replied back as I played with a strand of his hair.
"I see.Well I can respect that. But now you've relaxed me and I don't want to get up at all." I chuckled and kissed his cheek not wanting to get up either. So I rested my head on his shoulder, he began tom slowly lean back so his back was against the floor of the bell tower and I rested on his chest.
"I'm heavy aren't I?" I questioned softly, to my surprise he quickly answered.
"No,you're light to most everyone. It's just that muscle weighs more than fat."
"So you're calling me a muscular girl," I look up and him and he turned away.
"Erm...."
