The mission we seemed to be going on was apparently very dangerous from what Altair had told us but even though I was close to his rank as master assassin I knew I would still have to be cautious. The man he was talking about seemed to have a whole army at his command which was obviously was not a good thing but we would make it I know we would. We set off to our destination to assassinate a man. Once we arrived at the location we repeated our plans and went to our positions. Altair was the distraction while me and Connor would go in and eliminate the rest of the guards that remained inside the fort. We snuck around until we eventually found Altair; he motioned us to get to where he was. We snuck our way as quietly and quickly as we could and crouched there waiting for Altair to give us the signal to attack. Go, that was the only word we needed to go after the target. Connor and Altair jumped from the wooden beam that we were on, they attack the guards and I went after the real target. I jumped down and apparently the target had seen me leap, definitely smarter than all our other targets obviously. I missed but I took out my sword from its sheath and charged towards him, he quickly countered and tried to cut my leg with is sword. Lucky it only cut my pants slightly, but still I couldn’t be too cautious around him, I didn’t take long for us to get slightly out of breath since we swung at each other as quickly as we could, all the while Connor and Altair continued to fight the remaining guards, I looked over to them every once in a while making sure everything was ok, yes I knew that was a very stupid move but I needed to make sure. We continued to fight until I managed to break his defense; I stabbed him in the neck with my hidden blade, he began to bleed and he just looked at me. “You honestly think I will go without a fight, funny, what you don’t know is that if I fall I ALWAYS TAKE SOME ONE WITH ME!” he yelled before taking out a dagger and stabbing me in the stomach with all the strength that was left in him. Pulled away from him, my vision began to blur but I seen him fall on the floor dead, I heard the faint sounds of my name being called feel onto the cold hard ground below me and everything went white…
