Lauren's POV

That night after coming home from shopping Camila did basically everything for the baby, I still couldn't bring myself to hold him yet. I wondered how it would have been if Camila wasn't here I probably would have took a flight to Miami and left him on my parent's doorsteps. Just because Camila did everything it didn't keep her from making me watch everything she does for him. She wanted to make sure that I could do this stuff on my own for when she wouldn't be here.

Camila was just taking Lucas out of the bathtub she carries him into the bedroom and laid him on the bed. She dries him with the towel then puts his diaper on him, after that she lotions him down then puts on his footy pajamas.

"How are you feeling Lolo?" Camila asked.

"I really can't tell you honestly, I sort of feel numb. Today has brought back a lot of bad memories that I never wanted to relive. I can't even comprehend him being here."

Camila finish with the baby and she places him in the portable crib that I purchased today. She walks over to the bed and sits and motions for me to join her and I did willingly. She wraps her arm around me holding me firmly and I sink into her touch.

"You know what I thought of when I first saw you?" She said.

  "No, what did you think?"

"I thought that you were so fucking intimidating, I thought that you were the most stunning woman I has ever laid eyes on. But it was when you talked and you alluded so much confidence that was when I was really impressed, I could tell off the bat that you were a strong person and you are. I don't know many people who would do what you're doing or do what you did but I admire you. You're stronger than you put on Lauren, I have gotten to really know you and I know that you have unrelenting strength you can handle this honey I know you can and you will. I have the utmost confidence in you."

Her words turned me to mush I have never had someone talk to me in the manner she did. She genuinely cared about me and if there was any doubt in my mind before it was put to rest by her words. I wondered how one person could be so understanding, she understood me in ways I didn't even understand myself.

"I really do love you Camila." I said to her.

"Yeah I know that, I love you too." She said leaning in to give me a kiss. "Are you ready for bed?" She asked.

"I am it's been a very hectic and emotionally exhausting day." I said to her.

"Get into bed I'm just going to check if Lucas is asleep."

I did as she said and she went to the side of the room that Lucas was sleeping. I watch her as she looks at Lucas down in his crib, a smile gracing her lips. She soon walks back over to the bed and gets under the covers with me, she wraps her arms around me and I lay my head on her chest. She plays with my hair absently and kisses me on the forehead.

  "Goodnight Lolo." She said.

  "Goodnight Camz."

The steadiness of her breath told me that she had fallen asleep, knowing myself I wouldn't fall asleep that easily. So when I knew that Camila was in a deep sleep I gently untangled myself from her and I got out of bed. I grab some gym clothes that I keep on standby, I grab my bag and I leave the apartment. I was extremely stressed out and I had to let that tension out someway and Camila was very adamant about me not smoking I wasn't going to go against my girlfriends wishes, so the gym was my best bet.

I get to the gym and I naturally was the only one there and I liked it this way. I pull my knuckle guards out of my bag and put them on and I starting going in on the punching bag. This was my main outlet for my stress, and to think that only a short eight hours ago I was at my most happiest with just Camila. Now that was all blown to shit and I was taking it out on this defenseless bag.
