Draco and I had an awkward moment of indecision while I reached in for the hug, and he held out his hand to shake mine.
I felt my pale face grow hot when he embraced me, but I recovered quickly when we both pulled away.
"I've told father all about you." He smirks before he leads the way onto the train. Honestly I'm a little hurt he didn't help me with my luggage but whatevs... I get it, he's excited.
"Really?" I try not to sound too nervous. My family always talks about the Malfoys, and I know nothing really about Draco's parents. "What about?"
"Just how you are different from any Weasley I had ever met before you."
I open my mouth to talk, but Malfoy continues.
"Bevin, Crabbe, Goyle, and Sicily are all going to be sitting with us."
"Sweet." I reply. Bevin and Sicily are my closest girl friends at Hogwarts. Sicily has straight, fine, blonde hair that reaches her bellybutton, and she has piercing green eyes that are the brightest I've seen. Her nose is small and longish, making her seem very elegant and because of her cold stare, frankly quite intimidating.
Bevin has a similar face shape and nose to me. we both have small button noses that slant slightly upwards at the bottom. Bevin has dark brown eyes and short, choppy black hair that falls right above her shoulders. Her skin is the color of cocoa and she loves wearing different colors of eyeliner each day of the week.
When Draco slides the door open so we can sit in our little separate room, We're greeted with our fellow Slytherins.
At first when I joined the house, I didn't think I belonged. But truth is, these people are decent, and they're fun to be around. I mean, nothing is boring in Slytherin.
I sat down next to Bevin, so she was in the middle of me and Sicily. I noticed her plum-colored eyeliner and thought it suited her perfectly.
"Yo, that color is awesome on you." I point to her eyes and she flashes me a toothy grin.
"Thanks! Stole it from my Aunt when she visited."
Draco sat across from me, and next to Goyle, who was next to Crabbe.
"Ains, it's not even sunday." Sicily points to my shirt seriously and I roll my eyes.
"Yeh." Crabbe says thickly, obviously not getting the joke Sicily was saying. "It's Tuesday isn't it?"
"Owh!" Goyle smacks him in the back of the head suddenly, causing Draco, Bevin and me to chuckle. Sicily, like always, is pretty straight-faced.
"What are you guys excited for this year?" Bevin bit her lip and watched out the window as the train started to move.
I looked out and saw mom, dad, Charlie, and Bill. They were waving at my siblings, sitting in the Gryffindor section of the train.
I moved my fingers to the side slightly, imaging myself in Gryffindor just for a moment, waving at my family.
"What are you doing Ainsley?" Goyle looked at me curiously and I shook myself out of the daze.
