***Alayas POV***
Percy licked his lips. "Chanting?"
"Yes," I breathed. "They were like 'ra ra something something hail Satan six six six'"
Annabeth seemed started. "Really?" She asked.
"No," I said. "It was just an example of chanting."
Nico seemed very interested in his salad. He looked down at it suspiciously.
"I think I know what they're up to," He said.
"What is it?" Asked Annabeth.
Nico stared her dead in the eye. "Just . . . follow me."
And then he took off. I looked over at Percy, who seemed just as confused as everyone else, if not more. Then he started running in the same direction that Nico did, followed by everyone else, including me. I couldn't help but notice the strange looks we got from random people.
After about two minutes of running, Nico slowed to a jog. He ran into a family bathroom that had a sign that read "out of order" on it.
It wasn't a bathroom at all. The walls where made of what looked like obsidian, while the floors seemed to be cobblestone. Our sound of our steps was magnified by the echoes the room caused. Nico was walking down steps at the end of the room that I had not noticed before.
Percy had a look on his face that I couldn't quite understand. He looked scared out of his mind, but at the same time he looked like he'd done this before.
Nico stopped. "Come on guys."
Piper, who hadn't spoke very much since she heard about the chanting gave him a quizzical look, as did Jason.
Leo was the first to step forward. "Adventure!" He yelled. "I thought this year was going to be booooooooring! Super seven, back at it again. I mean . . . five."
Jason rolled his eyes as he too stepped forward towards the steps. Followed by Percy, Annabeth, Piper, and I.
We embarked on our journey down the creepy steps that only Nico and Percy seemed to know anything about.

It. Took. Forever.
Leo was complaining all the way down. "Nico, what the—"
His words where drowned out by Nico stopping abruptly and turning around. "Leo, I swear to god, I'm going to kill you if you don't shut up."
Nobody spoke after this. I'm guessing Nico's emo ways scared the hell out of everyone.

Finally, we reached the bottom of the steps, only to see a black river filled with objects, a crowd of wandering people, a field that looked like it was made for torture, and a castle. Yet, there was light. I couldn't describe what it looked like. The only way to describe it was that it looked exactly like one would imagine heaven to look like. But how could heaven be underground?
"The underworld," gasped Annabeth.
