The letter

That morning after all the stuff that happened was another boring day of school. I just dressed and went out the door, I didn't want to bother Andrew. When I got to school I saw my locker was open an had a note.

"Hey your Andrews sister ?"I jumped like he was a ghost. I had that feeling today wasn't going to end so well.

"Yes why?"

"No reason. My name is John luke I'm Andrews friend"

"Hi I'm Athena I can't talk right now I'm busy and freaking out" that's when I turned around noticing it was the boy from last night,regretting what I said, he frowned.

"Alright I guess I'll talk to you later beau...." I couldn't hear the last word it just faded as he walked away.

I opened the letter seeing it wasn't a kids hand writing. It said,

Dear lovely Athena,

This is your real dad. I don't know what else to say but that I want to meet a creation I helped make. The guy that says he's your dad isn't but your mom is your mom. I love you sweet heart I hope I get to meet you one day soon.

I felt a cold tear run down my cheek, then I heard the bell ring. I don't care if the bell just rang I was confused about the letter. The principle came up and asked why I was just standing their.

"I......I was just....reading"

"Reading what it must me sad your crying"

I handed her the note, her face looked like she was having a flashback.

"You can go home for the rest of the day, you are excused"

I wonder why she did that. When I got home no one was their so I looked at the note again and on the back I saw a number. I put the number in my phone and put the note on the fridge. I called the number shaking.

"Hello?........hello?......anyone their?"

"Yes sorry you left a note in my locker"

"Yes did you read it?"

"Yes I did so are you my dad?" When I asked that I heard a scream in the back ground that sounded like my dad but I guess I was just hallucinating.

"Yes I am, I knew your mother would never tell you so I moved back so I could meet you"

"How are you going to meet me?"

"Come and meet me at the park at 4"

"Okay I have to go my moms about to be home"

"Okay by"

Since my mom was about to be home I decided to leave early. When I arrived at the park John was there. I went to the swings, it was only 2.

"Hey Athena!"

"Hey John Luke, what are you doing here"

"Just relaxing the nurse let me out of school early" "do you mind if I swing with you"

"No I don't mind"

For the next 2 hours we swung and talked like we were best friends. I learned alot about him and we had alot more in common than I thought.
