John Luke

Dad or father?

"Athena" said a weird voice.

"John Luke you might want to go, I'll talk to you later"

"Why?"

"Just go now" I yelling and he left quickly.

"Yes who are you"

"I'm your dad"

"Okay and why did you just now want to tell me this?"

"I was afraid"

"Of what?"

"Of me not being as good as bob"

"How do you know his name?"

"That's who your mom was with when me and her had you.....she was cheating on bob but chose him"

"Does my dad know??"

"Why yes I do! I just told you!!"

"Not you...you're my father not dad. My dad went missing!! Unlike you care stranger." I could feel a tear rolling down my cheek. "and why did you just leave me to thinking that I had the perfect family and nothing was wrong?......why?...why did you do that to me?" Then that's when I slapped him.

"I have to go they don't want me talking to you"

"wait you can't just leave"

"I'm not supposed to be talking to you they will do some bad things if they find out"

I didn't know what else to say so I let him go. I saw him go between two buildings that were abandoned. I started walking to the buildings.

"Athena"

"Ahhhhhhhhh..... You scared me I didn't think anyone was following me"

"I heard the whole thing, do you want to see where he went? I know I do"

"Yeah but I don't want to go alone"

"I will go with you" then he smiled and it was just gorgeous. It's like he lite up the world when he smiled.

"Thank you"

The building wasn't that far away but once we got there it just ended. It was like he vanished into thin air. Then once we went to the end I leaned against the wall thinking great did this for nothing.

The wall started to move into stairs.... It was wierd very wierd. I tryed grabbing something and it ended up being John Luke's hand.

"I'm so sorry" I said as I pulled away.

"It's alright I know you're scared"

He slowly held my hand... By slow I mean really really slow motion. Stupid butterflye's!!! This is the first time I've actually felt like I shouldn't let go.

The stairs were brand new and shiny clean. we started to walk and then we saw.....
