*Reagan's POV*
"Dude, don't look now but, Grayson Childs keeps checking you out." Elisabeth nudged my shoulder. Blood rushed to my cheeks. "What? Really?" My tiny little junior heart picked up speed. Grayson Childs? The hottest junior in the school is checking me out? I tried my hardest to ignore looking over at him.

But I couldn't do it. I turned and our eyes met. He gave me a dimpled smile which made my stomach do summersaults. I did what I hoped was a smile back. "Oh my god! He looked at me." I said out of breath. Elisabeth looked behind me. " Well now he's walking towards you. " I stopped breathing.

"Hey." A deep warm voice said behind me. I turned and faced the blue eyed boy. "Hello." Damnit. My voice was barely over a whisper.

" I'm Grayson." I nodded. " I know." Wait, what? My face got hot. " I meant um, I uh- I'm Reagan."  He let out a soft chuckle that made a smile slip on my face. " I was wondering if you'd want to sit down and grab a slice of pizza with me?"  My mouth dropped. I couldn't get out any words so I just nodded my head.

He gave me another bright smile and asked a lady at the bar if we could have a booth. I looked behind me to see Elisabeth grinning from ear to ear.

We walked to a booth away from the crowd. "So what can I get both of you?" The waitress asked. She was beautiful and young. She had golden blonde hair cut pixie style. And bright green eyes framed in long dark lashes.
She was talking to Grayson warmly and leaned over a bit to show off her cleavage. I looked over at him and he was looking at me. He saw that I caught and looked away quickly a "um just two slices of -" he paused and looked at me. "Cheese, just cheese."  She nodded scribbled something down and walked off .

"Just cheese?" The beautiful boy sitting across from me gave me a quizzical smile. "Cheese is safe, when you're having a party and you don't know what people like you order cheese, so, cheese is safe, cheese is home." "Little philosophical for a slice of cheese don't you think?" I raised an eyebrow, "Oh, bite me, you asked I answered." He laughed and put his hands up in surrender. "Whoa, never thought you to be the sassy type. Can I tell you something?" He looked at me with those deep blue eyes that made girls swoon. "Shoot." "What's a girl like you doing here on a Friday night after one of the biggest games of the season? A girl who doesn't even go to the games. Matter of fact why don't you go?"

Stevie's was the local hot spot for the crowd that usually left the Friday night football games at North High. "That's two questions, you're getting a little greedy."He smirked, "Humor me." The waitress brought our pizza and aimed a smile at Grayson. "I'm not exactly sure what you mean by 'a girl like me'."  He licked his lips. "Well for starters I've only ever seen you talk to all of about one person. And you always have headphones in blasting some singer who wails on and on, or have your nose in some book that has a cheesy cover on it. You wear clothes that swallow you whole as if you don't want to be seen." My heart speed up, i let out a shaky laugh," What have you been stalking me or something." I looked down at my hands. "Actually I'm gonna let you in on a little secret, I've  been intrigued by you since freshman year." I snapped my head up to see him watching me. "What?"

"I was curious how someone who was so beautiful and smart was always ignored. A social outcast who didn't even really need to be one. I remember you from middle school, you were so happy and everyone likes you and now-" "And now I'm a freak." I snorted. "No, now you're hiding." He stared deeply at me. " Who are you Grayson?"

He laughed and leaned back, "Me? I'm the top quarterback of the season, undefeated, King of the school, King of the county and I'm only a junior." He smirked and I scrunched my nose at him, "Is that supposed to impress me?" "Well I was hoping."

"I have to know more about you, please let me take you out on a proper date." I blushed. "I don't date superstars." He smirked again, God it was so cute when he did that. "Please, humor me, free food is to come." I laughed. I shook my head, "Okay." The smile he gave me was dazzling. "Excellent."
