Kai stood in the hallway unsure of what exactly to do. It had been an hour since meeting the prince and now he was stationed outside of his room while the prince was inside. He had been standing for exactly 23 minutes and 42 seconds. Yes, he had counted. Why don't they at least have a chair or something? Shouts from inside the room drew him away from his self pity quickly and he put his ear to the door.

"No, I hate you, Baekhyun. Give it back, I'm going to kill you!"

Kai stuttered. Aish, what do I do? Are they fighting? Can I separate him and his own servant? Ever since coming back from the meeting, Kyungsoo and Baekhyun had been inseparable. They talked and laughed. Kai was shocked to see the prince capable of such an action after seeing him so serious just moments before.

There was a loud crash in the room. Kai pulled the tapestry acting as the door to the side and barged in.

"What is going on? Are you—"A flying pillow to the face muffled the words. The act elicited an uproar of laughter. Feathers floated to the ground gracefully as a vast difference to the appalled face of the soldier. Kyungsoo sat on his bed, pillow in air, while his attendant stood before him, his arms in the air as if in the action of bringing the pillow back to deliver a blow. His face was frozen in a rather goofy grin.

"I'm so sorry! It slipped from my hands!" The servant sobered and fell to the ground in a bow, his forehead touching the floor.

Kai stood frozen. "You guys were.... Pillow fighting?"

"He took my book." Kyungsoo pointed at the bowing figure accusingly.

Sounds like someone else I know. "So you are not in danger?"

Kyungsoo smirked. It looked oddly pretty on his face and yet creepy at the same time. "No, I'm not in danger. Baekhyun get off the floor before I kick you."

Baekhyun sat up and leaned back on his heels. "Please, forgive me, sir."

"Sir? Sir?" Kai scoffed. "I'm pretty sure you're older than me, why are you calling me sir?"

"Yea, stupid. He's just a guard. He's cool." Kyungsoo whacked his head with his foot gently.

"Yea, I'm cool." Kai posed "cool-like" and smiled. Kyungsoo stared at him. "I mean, If it's ok for me to be casual. If not...I-I will go back outside." Kai was suddenly afraid that he had crossed a boundary too soon. He never liked being unprofessional but something in the way the prince regarded him made him feel like it was ok. But maybe he was wrong.

"You are so much cooler than, Changmin." Kyungsoo stated in awe.

"Who?" Kai paused in front of the entryway.

"My old guard. He was so stuck up and prude. He always frowned upon us having fun." He motioned to himself and Baekhyun. "I like you a lot. You should hang out with us more often. Nothing ever happens and no one comes by to check on you, so you can really go wherever you want, whenever you want." Kyungsoo leaned back on his bed and replaced the pillow at its head. Baekhyun sat comfortably on the floor and entertained himself by inflating his cheeks and pushing out the air with his fists. He looked a bit like a pufferfish. The mental image made Kai chuckle. The other boys looked at him questionably. "Did I say something funny?" Kyungsoo asked with genuine concern.
