Chaos. If Xiumin could describe the scene that lay before him now in one word, it would be chaos. A woman lay just in the doorway, her hands laid on her lap and her face peaceful, but her throat was severed and a dark red mark made its way from one side to the other in a sickening resemblance to a grin. Further in, a big man is sprawled in the hallway on his stomach, a pool of black surrounds him and his head, well. Xiumin would have liked to describe it, but it wasn't there. A boy on the street sobbed loudly as he fell to his knees, his eyes looked like the woman's, his stature like the man. His soft yellow hair cascading over his face. Guards came and took the bodies away. The boy screamed at the last sight of his mother and father. And he wept.

"Jongin."
Kai lifted his head. Sehun stood in the doorway with a somber expression.
"Have you seen the general today?"
Kai shook his head in response. Two days have passed since the former general of the army was murdered. The new general has been kept on lockdown. Sehun hoped to see him everyday but never could. Sehun sighed. "I have something I wanted to give to him." He held up a parcel.
"What's in it?" Kai stood and grabbed the parcel, feeling its weight. It was only about 3x3x3 inches.
"Tea. Luhan grows it in his garden. I asked if he could spare some for Chanyeol." He took back the parcel and sighed again. "But we can't get to him at all."
"Not necessarily."
The two boys turned at the new voice. A small frame of a boy stood in the doorway, his brown robes falling just above his ankles. His sunkissed hair disheveled and still somehow good looking.
"Baekhyun. What do you mean, 'not necessarily'?"
The servant blinked a few times but remained silent and still.
"Oh, you may come in." Kai receded a bit.
Baekhyun smiled and entered the room. "I mean, YOU can't get in there, but servants can. All the servants know where everyone is. Including Jongdae and I. I can take something to him if you wish."
Sehun grinned. "You would do that for us?"
"It's my job."
Sehun beamed. "Wonderful. Take this to the general for me." Sehun handed him the parcel. He paused for a moment then rushed in to hug the servant, taking everyone in the room by surprise. "The general is the only father I've ever had, it worries me when he is unsettled." Sehun receded then nodded to the wide-eyed servant.
"I'll make sure he uses it well." Baekhyun stuttered before hurrying off.
"You know he just wanted an excuse to go see Chanyeol, right?" Kai mumbled.
"Oh, I know. And now he has a reason to stay." Sehun smirked. Kai looked at him incredulously before breaking out into a smile as well. "Nice."

A small knock on the door woke Chanyeol from his daydream. He glanced at the time candles. 10 pm. Who would be bothering him at this hour? He got up from his desk and padded towards the door. His black night clothes loosely swaying. He opened the door a crack and saw a servant waiting anxiously.
