My Beautiful Lion

Chapter one

Dan Howell looked out of the window,and watched the trees passing by. He looked at his watch. It was 10:23 am. Ugh,he thought,time cannot pass quick enough!He was on his way to meet his best friend for the first time in person.

Suddenly,his thoughts were crowded by beautiful blue eyes and glorious pale skin. Dan was very proud to call the raven-haired boy named Phil,his friend. He had had a crush on Phil since the moment he first laid eyes on him.

The day Phil had followed him on Twitter,Dan couldn't stop beaming for the rest of the day. Phil had messaged him later that day,asking if he wanted to Skype with him. Dan immediately typed back his reply.

Dan chuckled to himself at the memory of how eager he was. All of this seemed so surreal,and now he was meeting his hero!

The train suddenly stopped. Dan had been so lost in his thoughts,he hadn't realized that the train had been nearing the station. He quickly grabbed his stuff and headed to the front. He jumped off the train and started looking for the beautiful black-haired boy.

Dan started to panic as the crowds of people started to close in on him. He felt his breath quicken and his throat close up as he searched for a familiar mop of black hair.

Just then,he heard a joyous voice,and felt arms wrap around him. Dan instinctively hugged the tall man standing before him.

"Dan?Dan,you're shaking!Are you alright?"

"F-fine..." He managed to utter.

"Daniel James Howell!Don't lie to me!What's the matter?" Phil questioned.

"Too many p-people." Dan squeaked quietly.

Phil took Dan's hand and started leading him through the crowd. Dan felt his heartbeat quicken and his face grow red. They finally made it to a clear spot,and Dan felt disappointed as Phil let go of his hand.

"That better?" He asked in his perfect angelic form.

"Much" Dan answered as he avoided Phil's gaze.

"Where are we off to?Lead the way,Bear!"

Dan blushed every time Phil called Dan the cute nickname. Dan had even given Phil his own nickname.

"Follow me,Lion!"

Dan started to walk towards the coffee shop he always went to. His friend Zoe worked there,and he couldn't wait to introduce Phil.
