Frisk nods solemnly before going downstairs with Asriel.
"You know," I start, "you don't have to help me." I look over at Sans. "This is usual for me. I don't have any balance whatsoever."
He shrugs, but doesn't let me go as we make our way down the steps. As we get the the bottom step, a heavenly aroma flood my nostrils. I breath something akin to a moan, and stumble out of Sans's grip and into the kitchen.
I find Toriel cooking pancakes and some meat. I feel my mouth water and I ungracefully plop down in an empty seat at the table. There were only three, everyone else having already taken a seat, except Sans, Toriel, and, until a couple of seconds ago, myself.
I ended up sitting next to an empty seat, and Frisk. Sans soon took that empty seat beside me, but he didn't look at me. I look over at Frisk, but she's conversing with Asriel next to her. Undyne, who is across from me, is also trying not to look at me.
I look down at the table, realizing that it's probably weird having a new person at their table. Or maybe I took someone's seat. I dunno.
After a mental debate with myself, I stand back up and say, softly. "I think I'm just gonna head out to the studio. I'm sure I can call my director and see if he can come pick me up." I turn around and make my way to the living room and back up the stairs.
I bolt to my room before anyone can come stop me and I close the door softly. I find a suitcase that I probably missed yesterday filled with clothes. I pull out a Legend of Zelda shirt, black skinny jeans, and a beanie.
Sitting down on my bed to pull on a pair of Converse, I hear a knock at the door. "It's open." I say, softly.
The person opens my door and I see Undyne. I quirk my eyebrow at her. "Waz up?"
"I was told to tell you that you ware welcome to eat breakfast with us, nerd." She says.
"Nah, it's alright. Not hungry." I say, suppressing the growl that tried to launch itself out of my stomach at the mention of food.
Undyne pulls her head out from inside my room and says something to someone else. She pokes her head back into my room. "Toriel says that she knows your lying and to get your butt downstairs and come eat."
"No, I'm fine." I say, forcing a grin. "I don't want to be a ripple in the obvious calamity that is your family."
She rolls her eyes and comes into the room. "You're coming with me, punk." She says before throwing me over her shoulder.
She walks downstairs and I giggle like a weirdo, because this situation is just wayyyyy too funny.
Undyne gets into the kitchen and dumps me into the chair that I was in before, and a plate of food is set in front of me.
I look up at Toriel. "Dude, it's alright. I'm not hungry." I say, with a smile.
"Eat." She says sternly.
I pout before complying. She watches me for a minute as I take a small bite of pancake and plop it in my mouth. She smiles a bit, looking relieved, before sitting down and eating her food.
I munch on my food, trying not to pay attention to conversations that didn't include me. Like Toriel's and Asgore's about food. Undyne's and Papyrus's about spaghetti. Asriel's and Frisks's "conversation' about, what I'm guessing, toys and school. Then Sans's and Alphys's about their jobs as scientists. Then Mettaton and Nastablook's (my computer wanted to auto correct this as 'bloodstain's'... Okie.) about music and performing.
I look at my plate and try my hardest not to say anything and act invisible. Which I guess made me invisible, because Toriel looked over to me and asked, "Where'd Katrina go?"
