I wanted to be a supportive friend, but he was the one person who should NOT be in charge.

"Sorry, but no. If your in charge, this project would fail. Miserably." I tell Jace.

"Come on Chelsea. Please?" He begs, looking at me with puppy eyes and a pout.

"No." I firmly state. "If you're the leader, you're just going to joke around and slack off." I cross my arms.

"Fine. Why don't you be the leader then?" He huffs.

"We both know Chelsea doesn't have the leadership skills to keep you in line." Jess walks into our argument. I nod my head in agreement. "She'll just give in to you're joking and go along with you're procrastinating."

"Hey!" I protest, then nod my head in a agreement. "You're right, I'm easily influenced by others..." I trail off.

"Then it's settled. Jess, your the group leader." Jess opens her mouth to speak, but then she's shot in the head by an unknown gun. She screams.

"Chelsea! Down!" Jace shoves me to the ground. I see Jess laying in a pool of blood.

Despite Jace's attempts to keep me pinned on the ground out of danger, I get up and grab Jess's hand.

"Jess, you can't die on me! Please! Don't leave us!" I start sobbing. Suddenly, she sits up.

"What happened? Did I just fall asleep?" There's no more blood, or bullet wound.

Jace sits up and we stare at her in bewilderment. What the literal fudge just happened?

"Y- you mean, you didn't just f-fe- feel like you were sh- shot in the head?" Jace stutters.

"No, what is up with you guys? Why would I feel like I got shot in the head?" She looks at us, worried.

Then, she stares off into space, with a look of horror on her face. She starts convulsing."Jess, JESS!" Jace grabs her shoulders, shaking them, and screams her name. I hold her down to help stop her convulsions. Suddenly she stops.

"I just saw myself getting shot in the head, but I wasn't in my body." She turns toward me. "But I saw you grab my hand, and then there was some weird rainbow energy pouring off you hands. When you started crying, the blood and head wound started disappearing. It was like you had healing powers!"

"I guess you have some weird powers then. Let's test it." Then, like the idiot Jace is, he bangs his head on the table. "Ow."

I put my hand on his head. I start seeing the weird rainbow energy coming from my hand, like Jess described. I take my hand off of Jace's head and he speaks up.

"The headache I had just went away. You do have healing powers!" Who knew I had a hidden talent?

Suddenly, the whole room changes, at we're not in the classroom anymore. "Wait guys, where are we?" I make a full body turn and see a sign that says "The Wrong Way". Suddenly it gets really musty and warm.

"What do you mean?" Jace asked. Then he looks around. His eyes go wide. "Where the fudge are we?"

I smack him upside the head. "That's what I just asked, you idgit!"

He rubs his head. "Ow, again."

Jess points to the sign. "What is that supposed to mean?" She asks.

I don't know..." I suddenly feel exhausted. "Does anybody else feel tired..."

"No, wha-" I suddenly black out. I wake in my bed, looking around my room.Rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I check the time. 2:16. "That was a really weird dream, but I guess I have more time to sleep..." I lay my head down on my pillow and listen to the calm sounds of rain from outside. Quickly I drift back to sleep, and I begin dreaming again but this time, it's different.

There's red-orange sand everywhere and I'm standing on a price of plywood. I step of the plywood, and onto the sand. Suddenly I start sinking. I scream. "What's happening?!"

"Chelsea, RUN!" I hear a boy scream. I look for the source of the voice I quickly spot him. He starts sprinting towards a girl.

I shout at them to help me, but they don't hear. I realize that I am waist deep in the red-orange substance that seems to be quick-sand. I start struggling, but I just sink quicker.

I scream at the boy and girl again but they are long gone. Soon, my head is the only thing that hasn't gone up. I give up and let the sand swallow me. Instead a suffocating, I feel like I'm drowning. Since I've given up, I let myself pass out.

I wake with a gasp.
