That morning, it lingers in the back of my mind, and I think about it every day. The morning I came downstairs from my room, I walk into the kitchen expecting my mother and father to be making breakfast and my younger brother Johnny to run to my legs and grasp onto me tightly, hugging me warmly saying "Good morning Alex." Then i would have a nice meal and head off to school, But that morning, was different. The smile I always wore happily on my face was now just a memory never to be seen again. That very morning of my 14th birthday I walk downstairs to see a strange man standing over my mother and father's bodies with a look of...Insanity...on his face. I was frozen on the staircase screaming, but nothing came out, I tried to move, but I just stood there immobile as the mysterious man walked out of the door holding my unconscious brother in his arms.
